I'm totally drained by this season, I don't want him here. The football and his attitude stinks.

Why would you give him more money when he doesn't play them anyway
Absolutely!

There are far too many question marks over his tenure to risk a large payout the next time it all goes off the rails.

Poor style of football, apparent issue with playing more than 1 game per week, refusal to use club signings even when they are a better option (Moura on rather than Danjuma), refusal to use youth unless forced to (Sarr etc.), lack of adaptability re tactics and line ups, substitutions, etc.

I do. From the glimpses I’ve seen. I love when the team all push up with pace on the counter and produce some lovely one touch football which sometimes leads to a goal or chance.

under redknapp and Poch I remember all the sideways stuff. We kept the ball well and kept a high line but there was so much side ways football as we struggled to break teams down that played a low block.
I have a very different view of the respective ways of play, but I appreciate you sharing your opinion. Thanks :)

Which one of them has he played consistently?

You gonna claim Richarlison because of a start? Bissouma? Spence? Porro wouldn't have played if Royale was fit.

Perisic has been the only one and he has been shit.

Says a lot that you could argue our most effective summer buy has been Fraser Forster.
Did Conte want all these players ?

Cutting off your nose to spite your face mate.

How you could be happy with the past 7 months of management is beyond me.
I like Conte. I don’t mind his style of football. When implemented properly it can be enjoyable to watch.

Get in a new keeper who can play the ball, and a couple of CBs who can move the ball, and I think we have a chance at doing very well.

Even as poor as we have been at times this season, we are still on to qualify for CL next season.

Not a chance he signs a new deal, reckon he'll reject anything given to him, he clearly wants out.

I mean if can get us top 4 again and we part ways in the summer I feel it's the ideal scenario.

I’d say this is the most likely scenario- but I don’t think it’s impossible for him to sign a new deal.

Is Daniel Levy leaving?

If like me you think there is zero chance of that happening, especially as our fanbase has shown it has no appetite for protest just like levy has shown zero desire to change then the question isn't did he want them but is he making the most of what hes got.

I don't know who he didn't want and both sides use it as a stick depending on the point they're making but going forward we clearly need someone to make the most of what they have got and what they get given.

Now our wonderful chairman will probably try and keep him still if he gets top four as that's all he cares out but when I look at quality of football, squad management, attitude towards the club and prospect of winning anything then no I absolutely do not want another season of this miserable rubbish.

Just hope VLS's first hand experience of the situation at the stadium has got her thinking in an objective way, ideally one that's different to Levy.

For too long it would seem that he has had pretty much the only voice that matters, even at board level and Joe Lewis hasn't come across as caring either way. That's rarely a good thing and for a big company they have acted in a pretty unprofessional manner recently. Maybe VLS will help shake things up.

I could be way off though :cautious: :D

Which surely comes down to a lack of management and leadership.
But how many times have we seen it over the years at Spurs? It's not a new thing isolated to Conte. We had it under Jose, Poch, Redknapp, AVB, Jol. I could go on here.

Players thinking they can just turn up to these games and win at a stroll. Its not down to management and leadership, its down to application on the pitch. There's only so much a manager can do before they go out on the pitch. If they don't have the motivation for a cold night at a lower league team then its on them.

I don’t believe it can be that…everyone can learn from their mistakes, and given they don’t seem to be learning I think it’s more that the players feel the pressure now in these games. The “oh shit it might happen again” feeling. I cannot believe that these players keep underestimating opponents, or can’t be bothered. Once, sure. Multiple times every season? I don’t buy it. Think they need someone in those moments to relieve the pressure, which is why Conte will never be the man for that job. New players (without that mindset) or new coach needed.

And 3rd is still a realistic possibility.

Mods we need the optimistic rating back. Even if that were true about the Keeper and CBs we’d still have the feckless insipid chance creation issues. And we’d still be playing wingbacks and 2 CMs which has been overrun by literally every good midfield we’ve played this season.

What makes you think Conte, Paratici, and Levy are on the same page transfer wise anyways?

We spunked £100m this summer on Spence (loaned out, didn’t even start one bloody match), Bissouma (feck knows where he fits into Conte’s system, injured), and Richarlison (clearly better than Son this year, given almost no chances to prove it)… and then the anonymous Danjuma who may as well not exist in Conte’s eyes.

it’s clear that there are significant issues behind the scenes in terms of transfer direction. Plus, I do not trust Conte’s eye for a player in the market given that he turned down Maddison.

Mentality has for a long time been an issue at this club. A long long time.

Some of them have the mentality of less than a cream cracker.

Like you say, they're not going to succeed under Conte if he's not going to relieve the pressure, but the arm round the shoulder approach from Poch didn't work either in some of these matches or big moments. So my opinion is they'll never have it and need to be replaced, regardless of who the coach is.

I thought we didn't move for Maddison because his attitude was questionable? Could be wrong but I think I remember seeing it mentioned here somewhere on here.
