Some great ITK in the past 48 hours... The mood has changed greatly.

The purchases and links haven't been from the top drawer that I perhaps dreamed of. However, the buys and the outs will do one very important thing and lift the air of stagnation I felt the squad was being smothered by.

Roll on the second half of the season.

We're all Spurs fans lads, not sure why it matters what platform we've ended up on.

By that, I mean you don't need to post about it any more. Ta. COYS.

Can’t see it myself, expecting busy day for outgoings but think we’re most likely done for incomings
Itk is encouraging but seems like if anything of any real quality was going to happen it would be breaking by now

Are you assuming the two guys rumoured to be having medicals are done, or have you missed that?

After a long time do I feel excited about deadline day, visions of our Pat hanging out of the Range Rover akin to Rednapp.
Also great to hear that we are looking to do deals in summer as well and being a bit pro active.
Great work with getting rid of players that pulled us back

Not specifically Spurs related, but players are being offered all over today. Lots of clubs across Europe begining to panic they haven't sold yet. Interesting day tomorrow as some clubs may have to let better players go than they intended just to keep their heads above water, and no one is paying a premium to a club if they are desperate.
Thanks for all the info trix, personally so happy to have your input and intel again ??

V little gets done in January historically. I’m desperate to see us sign players to improve us, but realistic this is more likely in summer. Not sure what to make of players that appear to be coming in, the rest of the season will tell. If we can shift some of the deadwood on big wages and Conte is happy to go again in the summer, then I’d deem it a success

Yup. My view too.

If we end with the two rumoured and some outgoings, I think we have to be pleased under the circumstances.

Anything else is a bonus, though I’d be very surprised if we managed it.

A RWB in particular would be nice

Imho the players we have signed will improve us

Yea I’m assuming the two that are practically done.get finalised
Beyond that I don’t see anything else happening especially of any real quality as any “big” deal would of been leaked by now or at least rumours of interest.
shame because I think we’ve managed the bare minimum tbh two solid signings but left crucial areas of the squad untouched namely RWB & striker

Those saying we are done after the Juve pair....

There is a reason imo we've made one of them a straight purchase and not a loan with option/obligation is because it leaves us with one spot free for a further loan. Much easier to do a loan quickly than it is to do a complicated purchase.

From everything being said right now, I still expect one more tomorrow and I wouldn't rule out 2.

Just to add once the loan is done the obligation/option can be added after the window shuts if need be.

Not a question for Trix, but just what was said, I thought loan options from out of UK we didn't have a limit on? And its just a limit from English (or Premier league) loans?

So a bit confused by that bit in what was said. For EPL loans you can only have 2 at once and 4 for the season.

Edit: No cap on international loans apparently

- Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.
- The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.
- Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window.
- A Premier League club may loan not more than one of its goalkeepers to another Premier League club.
