Kane, Dele and Son are players that are known for their ability to finish chances. Adama creates chances. No-one in our team regularly creates chances. For me this is a no brainer. Imagine the havoc Kane and Son in particular could create with the space provided by him running with the ball!?
Adama creates space, which indirectly creates chances. He's probably never going to be someone who racks up lots of goals and assists, but that's not the key thing with him. He's in the 98th percentile among wingers in successful dribbles that lead to a shot attempt. There's hardly anyone better in world football at progressing the ball up the pitch with it at his feet, dragging defenders all over the shop, and carving out the space that leads to shots.

It's very easy to take one glance at his assists last season and say he's useless, but if it were Kane and Son getting on the end of those shot-creating actions rather than Willian Jose and Fabio Silva, it'd be absolutely deadly. His production the season before when his dribbling was creating space for Jimenez and Jota attests to that.

would love Traore, he scares defenders to death at times, and one of the biggest things is the space he makes for teammates as often he will have 2/3 on him..

I think there is an obsession on "all" players needing to produce amazing stats but it wasn't that long ago since we had Modric completely bossing things for us getting low numbers of goals/assists every season. Same for Dembele and we would do anything to have him now. Sometimes you just need players to get the best out of what you have. Adama definitely falls into that territory.

Traore gets into our first eleven. We’re playing more counter attacking football and he is exactly the type of player we need.

It will naturally create more space for Son and others players.

Most importantly he is enjoyable to watch. Beating his man for fun. Who does that in our team?

No thanks in regards to Traore. If the guy could pick a pass or shoot and had just a smidge of good decision making he'd be already playing for Man City, Chelsea or Bayern.

Also not too pleased Sanchez might now be staying, I don't might Sanchez but he has to be one of the most inconsistent players I've ever seen. Looked like a different player against City, today his alter ego was playing as was panicky, out of position alot and in some cases a general headless chicken. He's definitely got the attributes to be a class centre back, he just can't seem to string 2 or 3 top performances together to save his life.

I can handle inconsistent attackers but we need some solidness defensively and Sanchez will never bring that. Sell him to Seville whilst there's strong interest.

Nah I don't buy that.

Ive seen enough of Wolves and Traore to know as much as he's always a handful there's no good him creating space and pulling defenders towards him when he can't play the right pass to make it worthwhile.

People will say what a "handful" he was today, he had more of the ball than anyone but did absolutely sod all with it. I was happy to let him have it. As i said before, if he was half decent at scoring or passing or just making the right decison half the time he'd already be playing City or Chelsea.. There's a reason he's still at wolves.

Adama Traoré
Would love us to pull this off, as Nuno ❤ him! Meltdown by some if this was to happen. And it is a very good possibility…?
The one time I don't want you ITK to come off. :X3:

He'd cause more frustration than Bergwijn and Moura. No thanks from me.

Don’t personally rate Traore, but Nuno has worked with him and if he thinks he can get a proper tune out of him, it’s got to be worth backing him, at the right price.

I'd question Nuno's judgement then. He isn't at the level we need to improve us sufficiently. If Nuno doesn't work out Traore becomes more deadwood we struggle to shift in two years. We know how hard it is to sell players that don't cut it, signing a RWF that doesn't score is madness to me.

Who do you want?

He is such an exciting player, but if Nuno couldn't get him consistent while at Wolves, I don't think he'll do it here.

Kane would still be jogging out of midfield.
