I thought Gedson did quite well tbh. Always wanted the ball, made some excellent dribbling/tricky runs, which considering the state of the pitch was good and recycled the ball quickly. Probably had the most touches out of our whole team and kept trying for the full 90

Did he make mistakes? Sure he did, he looked knackered at the end and was stretching as he appeared to be getting cramp, but I can't remember the last time he played 90 mins.

Still, some fans have got to pick holes and have a dig out of someone despite the professional approach of the whole team and a 5-0 scoreline.

Thought he worked his socks off, always showing for the ball and making a run. His passing let him down, but that could easily be rustiness, he’s not kicked a ball since we played Chelsea in September. Him Dele and Sissoko were running the show first half.

Well, off the top of my head and my fading memory......

The Klopp cut-out, Dion Dublin (a pundit/commentator AGAIN, go figure), daring to mention the opposition were part time footballers and had real life jobs, the trumpets, the strumpets (drinking prosecco), the camera showing the cut out, the camera showing the houses, Ian Wright, the first six minutes of the match, us looking good due to the poor quality of opposition, the choice of substitutions, the timing of substitutions, Doherty, Gedson, Gedson and Gedson again.
I thought I was becoming a miserable **** in my old age but from this thread, I'm obviously a right chippy little fucker!
Not one thing tonight gave me any reason to grumble... And I suffer from depression! ??

I'm just gonna assume that those getting at Gedson is doing it because they know he's probably off so are all to happy to throw him off the trash heap (not that that's acceptable because it's idiotic regardless) It has to be that because if you're critiquing his performance and somehow coming to the conclusion that he was below par then you're actually a clown.

New levels of shite in the match day thread, bravo you bunch of miserable gits.

You could see people actively searching for something to latch onto............. 'bloody vuvuzuelas' then it was something else, then another thing, thankfully nothing was settled on and the search for consensus carried on until Gedson cropped up, they all chirped up when that happened :D

Probably one of the most embarrassing match thread I could remember from some of the disrespectful remarks on Marines, both club and players and unbelievable moanings of our players and goals. A professional and rallying performance from the lads with youngsters yet were never enough if the scoreline was not 12-0, it seemed.

Job done but honestly....2nd half was a joke.

Gedson is a terrible player and once Dele was off we could not create sh*t against an 8th tier team. Whatever, roll on Villa (hopefully).

tbh We were up by 5. No need to criticise because we’re not winning by double digits. No injuries and that’s good imo

They'd still be digging out Gedson.

It's today's "safe word."

You don't learn anything about experienced players from games like this, there's nothing to analyse. We won, we won comfortably. That's all you can expect or take from this stage of the competition.

The only players you can fairly judge after today are the kids who would have been trying to make a name for themselves and I think they looked good.
