Regardless of the actual teams playing, MNF has always been like this people. They also did a Kane piece at the start, stop moaning.

As others have stated MNF is the show where they analyse the weekends games. They always do this. The fifteen minutes between 19-45 and 20-00 will be about our game.

Davies has really stepped up his game since Reg arrived. I think he'll be trying to prove a point when he goes forward tonight.

You reckon? I wouldn’t say “serious” lack. Maybe not tried and tested at the very highest level but it’s a Spanish international left back and Wales’ first choice centre half to call on.
And 2 premier league games between them. I'm not doubting the quality, just the experience at this level.

This team is built for scoring goals at the moment . No way we don’t get two or three just depends on us conceding less than we score

Aside from the selection of Davies over Reguilon, no complaints over that team selection. Even where Davies is concerned I can understand why he gets the nod tonight. I just hope we don’t fall into the trap of our front 3 getting isolated and playing into Burnley’s hands by being preoccupied with neutralising their threat.
The selection of Davies over Reg makes a lot of sense for me. It's a pragmatic decision, as Jose knows he's facing exactly the same tactics as he did against the Spammers. Needs some height in the box to deal with set pieces.

For better or worse, it means the game will likely focus on containment and hitting hard on the break during the first 60 mins. Depending on the score, he'll amend the tactics and players accordingly. Personally, for this game, I think this is the best possible line up.

Have to say, I can never predict a Jose line-up. I swear he thinks “what would @Col_M do?” and then tweak it. He is my Nemesis.

Could it be that Sanchez, Winks and Stevie B are also carrying small knocks... hence not playing them. Same with Dele?
