Sorry but Jose out, Rodgers in. This was a continuation of the bland football we’ve been presented for the last what 10 months? Forget top 4, we just need to start playing better football right now, it’s been pretty painful to watch, it’s been a struggle most the time. Players look so dejected and have been for a while. I think Rodgers has fresher ideas, plays attractive football and has made some great signings since he’s been at Leicester.
Yea, just the last 10 months right?

All the glamour and reputation José brought with him to this appointment will have evaporated by now with the players. It's just him as he is now, with the tactics and insight that he has now, and it might not be enough any more, sadly.

I’m wondering if the players are even playing for him? I know you could argue Mourinho is finished and has been for a while, but even a finished Mourinho doesn’t sent his team out to play like that? No desire, no fight and no commitment. Hopefully it’s just rust and our usual slow start but can’t help but worry it runs deeper.

Well I’ve been quite vocal of how poor we’ve looked the last couple of years but I’m being objective in regards to Mourinho. We looked lively despite leaking goals for the first 6 weeks Josè came in but we had a woeful Xmas and it hasn’t been much better since has it...

Being objective, Leicester have been even worse since Christmas, but you want Rodgers in? :cautious:

Is this the Mourhino thread on Redcafe?
Certainly seems like it. they also thought he was a dinosaur.
And they were right.
Mousa for Dele when a bench had Bergwin Tanguy Lamela tells you everything about Mourhinos mind set.
Sooner he goes the better.

Today, all the players have to share the blame with the coach.

I cannot believe some world class players we have are jogging along and can't even spring 4 passes in the second half.

Pressing as a team starts with the man up front. Sorry, i expect better from our golden boy today. Hope he enjoyed his jogging session today.

And we will never come close to winning anything with a midfield of Winks, Sissoko and PEH.

I’m not concerned with talk of Top 4 and trophies right now. We haven’t won anything anyway to give us any expectation of this. I believe Rodgers is a forward thinking positive playing manager. That is what I believe we need right now. He’s shown he’s got the potential be successful, that season with Liverpool they should’ve won the league. Last season he should’ve got CL with a team he had no right getting top 4. Leicester were very unlucky with injuries plus some bad form for missing out.

Yeah I mean I wouldn’t object Nagelsman either. His Leipzig team tore us to shreds last season. His team worked so well and every player linked up comfortably and knew where the others were. Why not

Mourinho Mourinho Mourinho. His tactics are definitely out dated to sit back and concede possession should only be adapted when we play the very best teams away from home. We need to be more progressive anyone having a pot shot at Ndombele spouting his lack of effort or movement need to look at this game.

Haha some of the names being bandied about to replace Jose, we are such a deluded bunch. Them days are gone, we're signing mediocre players and we're a mediocre football team.

I think there are far too many people in awe of Mourinho at this club.. His number two is a Portuguese version of Phil Neal. Steve Hitchen is out of his depth and Levy behaves like an excited school boy around Mourinho and hangs off his every word.. Mourinho needs help, not a load of arse lickers massaging his huge ego.

It's slightly worrying that 2 bad performances like this and we could be out of 2 cups

Well i continue to be so glad I don’t have to go and watch this rubbish. Hopefully we will be shut out from games all season or at least until DL wakes up from his dream of having Mourinho circa 2005 as Manager
