Great goal by Marcus Edwards last night:
Good finish with his weaker foot. The little turn he did to get goal side of the defender was excellent.

Seems Alfie Devine has signed anyone on here seen much of him?
I saw him play for England at the tournament at the end of last year. He was playing with Hackett and Maguire, and Forson for that matter (first time I'd properly seen him in ages).
While I would've preferred to keep Forson, as his style would've helped with the balance of the squad more as offers something different, replacing him with Devine would still be great. In saying that though Devine's style defintely stands the better chance of coming through for us, which I suppose is better in the long run.
He's a deep lying playmaker who likes to spread the ball about, but also seems to be up for a tackle and can get about. Seems to take the ball well off both feet and moves about and provides an option. He was actually the Player of the tournament.
Overall he'd be a great addition and possibly the best academy signing we've brought in for a while in that respect, so I'm definitely pleased and seems with basically traded one talent for another. The only downside, like I said, he may be a bit too samey. Assuming Davies isn't a CM I'm thinking of, both Craigs do that CM role though one slightly more defensive the other more creative. I know Cassanova used to do it but has turned into a bit more of a utility man. Haysman used to be a DLP don't know if he still is but in the more AM style, and now John has moved there it could get congested though I imagine his stlye is more similar to Forson, which covers that bit tbh. I'd like to see John in the u23s next year though.
If he came I imagine the strongest lineup would be
----------Lo'Tutala
Cesay-Lusala-Muir-Hackett
------Mi.Craig-Devine--------
Whittaker---John----Mathurin
------------Scarlett-------------
With Robson missing out

I thought we offered contracts to De Bie and also Poch son in June.
I read the new Poch son signing but never heard anything about De Bie. Did he reject the contract?
Report: Tottenham offer new contracts to two rising academy starlets - Spurs Web - Tottenham Hotspur Football News
The recently released Premier League official retained list names Maurizio Pochettino, Jonathan De Bie, and Elliot Thorpe as having new contract offers on the table from Spurs. The Evening Standard confirmed a few days ago that Pochettino, the former Spurs boss’ son, had been offered a new deal...www.spurs-web.com
As far as I know De Bie was released. He was behind Whiteman, Austin and Oluwayemi in the pecking order and we have some decent keepers coming through behind them so it made sense to let him go.
Bring him back ffs.
Woy has been listening. Kirby makes the bench tonight for Palarse.
Just saw something on twitter, apparently Palace fans are annoyed at Hodgson for not playing any youngsters. I don't think anyone is surprised from Roy
He was entitled to make 5 subs. He made 2. The guy is off his rocker.
Any good?Isak solberg has signed a pro contract
