Pulled his hamstring running to Burger King in the middle of the night.
Why would he need to fake an injury when he doesn't play anyway?
Seems a bit pointless with only 3 games to go. I agree, i'm sure it's genuine and I think he'll get a second season. If he knows he is leaving and Jose/Levy knows he is leaving you could say he is just injured to stop all of the speculation of why he isn't playing and all that jazz. I think that he truly is injured and is in our future plans but that is just my take

See this is what I am talking about,Darren Anderton was one of the players that has made the most appearances and I think you will find he would be in the top ten all time for appearances behind Perryman it was only in his later years he became available less thru injury and I believe that is because he gave so much with effort that he became vulnerable to injury .
Sorry about that but as a fan of spurs since 1951 and having seen the great and not so great if you combine Anderton,s Effort and skill he was one of our greatest players and calling him sick note because he did not play so much in his last 18 months with the club is frankly an insult the great player does not deserve and I dont know what's wrong with Ndombele but I would not mind betting if Anderton had the same problems he would make himself available .Sorry about that but rightly or wrongly I had to come to the defence of one of my own favourite players I know I seem a bit childish for defending him but people do tend to defend their personnel hero's if their reputation is slurred .

His average across 12 was 25. Both this average and the one you deliver were massively brought down by his injuries during the Francis years. He played the vast majority of games every season in his first three, and never fewer than half in his last 6 (even though he was older and his previous injury had impacted his athleticism). You take those three horrendous years out and suddenly his average was 28 games per season.Anderton was a very fine player and I loved watching him play but he was unfortunate to be prone to injury. His lack of appearances for Spurs, however, was not just over his last 18 months with the club. He was with Spurs for 12 seasons and in 7 of those (95/96; 96/97; 97/98; 99/00; 00/01; 02/03; 03;04) he played an average of just 19 games, which shows he was injured often over his whole time with us. Not his fault, of course. It was most unfortunate for the player, our club and the national team.

There's a story from early in Jose's Chelsea days (first time around). The whole squad is at a party or social and Jose causes some trouble; he tells Terry that Lampard is bad mouthing him and Lampard that Terry is doing the same. So both players square up to each other and there's a massive scene, and Jose is basically laughing in the corner.
He wanted to see if they'd stick up for themselves; see if they've got any fight in them.
It's a tactic he's used throughout his career. It's not really bullying as such, it's a test to see who will respond positively under pressure and who will crumble.
If NDombele decides to say 'Screw you Jose, this is what I can do', then we'll be seeing more of him.
