I forgive you. You can spam this instead.
When I actually try to it doesn't work.

Are you saying that these players don't pass forward at all? Or are we just talking about Kane? That wasn't your original point.
Tim Sherwood was a better Spurs manager than Mourinho, and I gave up my season ticket because of the way we were playing under him. Anyone who thinks the fight between Lloris and Son shows passion is wrong. It shows the beginning of the end of us challenging for things, you can tell the squad is unhappy. We are going to have an even more fractured squad. This tension has been heightened by Mourinho.
Which we have done. You're using a broad stroke statement to run the current manager down, while the football last night was poor, if we weren't passing the ball forward we wouldn't have scored the goal.no the original post was making excuses for the manager for setting up some truly horrible football, i'm simply stating as UCL finalists we can pass it forward if our manager wanted to
Celebration takes place in many forms. I’d say this was the lower end of the scale. At that end, enthusiasm is hard to muster. Yes, it’s a positive. But the energy isn’t there to dance around the room. That doesn’t necessarily warrant fans becoming ‘fans’. We’re all on the same side. But the spectrum is rather large and, at the moment, widespread. To see some 'fans' of our club apparently unwilling to celebrate a win against a team in good form is very disappointing. Get over yourselves.
Lo Celso was our priority target and Bruno was backup. How we were never signing Dybala?Sessegnon has nothing to do with Poch. We wanted him on the advice of Levy’s special advisor David Pleat. The fact is Poch almost walked last summer because Levy’s antics in the transfer window. We were never signing Dybala and we spent forever negotiating for his prime target Lo Celso. The other player Poch wanted on the advise of Bisela was Calvin Phillips, but that was a no go because Levy was more concerned about Jack Clarke who was also on the advise of his special advisor.
Levy fast and loose antics in the transfer windows have left us with an unbalanced squad. The fact he listens to David Pleat as a special advisor is baffling.

I think that it’s in no small measure down to the fact that many didn’t want Mourinho and are determined to be proven right so every situation, every game, every word said by Mourinho will be contrived in such a way to paint him in as negative light as possible and where possible to ‘prove’ that he’s the wrong choice and that he will be on his way very soon.I just find it baffling that people are complaining about the style of play, they aren’t remembering that for the entirety of last season and this season under Poch we played similarly ‘dull’ and ‘arduous’ football. The last season we played ‘nice’ football was 17/18. Surely the only thing thats important is seeing gradual improvements in areas of our game, and I can say that defensively (Sheffield individual errors aside) we look systematically more solid since the restart. I think Jose would admit that offensively we aren’t as free following as he’d like us to be but just give him time ffs.
Hang on... you've assumed that because Mourinho was the wrong choice, the right choice must have been to keep Poch. Or that I think Poch was perfect (he isnt). My argument in that post was that Mou is the wrong coach for us.
The one strand you seemed to have picked up on (out of five) is that Mourinho isnt developing young players with talent. Foyth is not the best example because he has had a lot of injuries under both coaches. He was getting more and more game time under Poch when fit though. He had some very rash games but he also had some great outings in the CL and against Man City where he looked composed on the ball and shackled world class players (notably Sterling). Lets see what happens under Mourinho. My suspicion is (and you can quote me on this later) that because he is not yet reliable, he will not be given an opportunity to fulfill his potential and we will not see the best from someone who was an Argentine international at 21.
Your points on Sess and Ndombele are irrelevant. Even if Poch was doing a terrible job, all that means is that we can criticise Poch for the same thing as Mou. My argument is that Mou was a bad fit because we will not be buying fully formed players for big money - something Mou himself has said repeatedly whilst hes been here - but instead relying on buying potential to develop. This is the kind of Dortmund-esque strategy so many have pined for and seemed to be kick started last summer. Mou aint gonna maximise that.

Of course we can pass it forward but when we pass it forward and play expansive football bad things happen.
Like this
yeh I guess we will have to rely on 2 shots on target per game going forward, nice.
Go you with your strawman argument
No Pleat didn't find Dele. He was being watched by numerous clubs scouts including Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs (not Pleat) since he was around 13. I was being told about him from someone whos boy played with him at youth level and was regularly telling me this lad at MK was going to be great and was being watched by those clubs. There were more clubs but it was a while a go and I can't remember the rest.Lo Celso was our priority target and Bruno was backup. How we were never signing Dybala?
Also didnt Pleat find Dele from League Two? So weird that Levy listens to good scout

didn't you literally do the same one reply up?
It’s funny but for a player who had many fans scratching their heads as to what his place was within the team, Dembele went on to be an incredible influence in the team and is really missed. We were bad under Sherwood because we didn't have the right players (with the right mentality) - which Poch proved when he began his clear out (and Sherwood was not the right man to take us forward). It's not quite the same now but I think yesterday showed just how much we miss Eriksen and Dembele. They were at the fulcrum of all our creativity.
We need an outstanding playmaker or two to make his team function as an attacking unit. In the meantime, what we did yesterday will get us more good results than not.
I don't think the squad are unhappy, more they want to win. They played for mourinho yesterday, that was clear. Green shoots. The next three transfer windows are crucial if we want to challenge again.

No you want us to pass forward more and be more expansive - I showed you an extreme example of what happens when we do that, basically we're a bit shit if we open up, but somehow you've taken that as we should only rely on having 2 shots per game.
