Two managers, nearly the identical set of players ...So it’s not his job to motivate them now either? I fucking give up.
You can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.

It's not Jose fault that we agreed a fee and medical for Bruno but wouldn't pull the trigger until we turned a profit on Eriksen and then when we finally did that Bruno now cost double the amount and was off to a rival.
To dare is too dear.
I think Jose needs to be given a full season and won't judge him too harshly until then but I don't think he will be given the resources needed to crack on.
Oh I read it right. So we are swapping them all for one/two decent players? Who are you thinking?Yeh I don't think you read my first post properly. I think we would get significant money for them that would be enough for. say, a decent holding player and a fullback. Pre-covid, post-covid makes no functional difference because the players would still be valued relatively the same. If anything it slightly helps as the difference in player prices would be reduced.

A pig that went to the CL final and finished top 4 for one of those managersTwo managers, nearly the identical set of players ...

Start of this season old bean.A pig that went to the CL final and finished top 4 for one of those managers
I'm not. But We also finished top 4 the 3 seasons before that. Or are you airbrushing that out?Start of this season old bean.
Unless you're airbrushing the form and the luck that took us to the that final and our final finishing position last season?
& we sit and laugh at AFTV ...#JoseOut trending on twitter
Eh?! Merely suggesting that the influence an assistant can provide is fairly limited. So then why make such a big deal of it?
So we're basing this squad on previous squads with different players?I'm not. But We also finished top 4 the 3 seasons before that. Or are you airbrushing that out?
No we're measuring Jose's managerial skills vs. Poch's.So we're basing this squad on previous squads with different players?
Got it.
So some incense sticks and £200 mill worth of back four? I'm in.I don’t completely blame Mourinho but he doesn’t exactly inspire happiness around the place. Players look depressed and ground down to me. Maybe we Just need some positive energy and a new defence.
The life of a football fan& we sit and laugh at AFTV ...
You still won't accept it will you? He is not the right man for the job. He needs to be replaced. What have you seen that makes you think different?????Of course it is. But like under Poch, they don’t have it in them any more. They need moving on. It’s pretty bloody obvious.
Based on this season alone - Jose has been here less than a year ...No we're measuring Jose's managerial skills vs. Poch's.
I understand that sentiment but the reality unfortunately means the manager often carries the can before he can truly stamp his mark on the playing staff.Yes and no, Poch lost the players and now Jose is having issues with the same players. You can’t keep hiring managers until the players decide they like one of them. As per our last overhaul when we got rid of the Billy Big bollocks bridge... Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Adebayor and co, we need a similar rejuvenation of the squad.
So some incense sticks and £200 mill worth of back four? I'm in.
But he is not going to get a full pre season. He is getting one month to sort this mess out.Today was a real shit show but we shouldn’t judge Jose until he’s had at least the summer window, a full preseason and then x amount of games next season.
There’s so many issues with the team at the moment that cannot be resolved at least in part until the summer window has opened and then closed.
Pre Lockdown we had ITK that Jose wanted what was it 7-9 players? Lloris, Vertonghen and Sissoko wanted out, Rose was being a tit, Ndombele was a lazy fat knacker and we had an horrendous injury crisis to cope with.
Barring the injury crisis all of the above issues still need to be resolved. In addition to this there’s been question marks raised over Kane’s future, Alli’s continued his unwanted stint at stealing a living, Alderweireld can’t a sniff, Son can’t be arsed and so on.
Whether it be tinkering and strengthening mentality or a bloody overhaul of the squad... it’s wishful thinking to expect the team to be performing week in the week out.
The rest of the season should be used to experiment with the squad and youngsters and look to build a future with those who want to be here.
