Exactly. Use VAR but use it in the fucking spirit of the game. No football fan, regardless of allegiance, wants to see goals disallowed for 2 millimetre offsides and spurious handballs. Just save it for the important shit like the Fernandinho handball and glaring mistakes.

He even very obviously looked at the ball, then at Son's head, then led with the arm in the face. Absolutely blatant but somehow neither the ref nor VAR sees this. Meanwhile, they'll probably call an offside later because someone's dick is 1mm off.
