Great podcast assessing our current situation and where the blame lies when it comes to Levy, Jose etc.
Because the 'but, but the squad is knackered' argument is a load of bollocks. Theres 4 new players in for a start. Some others like Aurier that played 50% of the time. Can anyone explain how our fans have become so toxic ? To ask for a managers head under the current conditions of the squad is ludicrous
He's here, and will be for the foreseeable.
No amount of crying or whining is going to change that, so dry those tears and stop throwing your toys about.
No one knows if he's going to be a success or not after 4 months, and I cannot fathom why some fans seem to think they do...it's weird and a bit embarrassing.
Worst case scenario is he falls out with everyone, while playing relegation form football, and he gets the sack around xmas.
Leaving us in exactly the same position as when he was hired.
People weirdly keep ignoring it, so as its important I'll keep posting it.4 months? Really
We heard you mate. I don't think you will have to write the same post for the 117th time in the last 50 pages. It's getting a bit boring.
not enough though mate considering we'd not purchased a player for 2 windows before that.
We yet again didn't really address our key areas of weakness.
Going into the summer we needed to improve:
GK - needed a decent 3rd choice keeper - plenty of homegrown options out there but we go back for that midget Vorm again who basically got us knocked out of the FA CUP
RB - Trippier sold and Aurier not good enough = no RB signed
CB - Jan & Toby contract running down and Foyth not good enough = no CB signed and Toby only re-signed in Jan
LB - Rose needed moving on and Davies is ok as a back up so we needed a new LB but = we sign Sessengon who is really a Left Winger so basically no improvement on LB
DM - Wanyama crocked and Dier massively off form and no confidence after illness and injury, huge need for a DM = we don't sign a DM
CM - we addressed with with Lo Celso and Ndombele = Lo Celso great signing but so far Ndombele looks like a waste of money only time will tell, seems to me that we could've easily got Grealish for half the price of Ndomble if Levy didn't penny pinch
AM - we needed to re-enforce our attacking options as only Son is really to the level we need and consistent enough, Lamela is always injured, Lucas is inconsistent etc = we sign a raw 19 year old talent in Sessengon and then in January sign Bergweign, ok signings but nothing special and if we'd paid a bit more of the fee for Bruno Fernandes oh how different our team would look right now same if we'd got Dybala over the line but same old story with Spurs we huffed and puffed but didn't get it over the line
ST - n.o1 priority to get at least 1 back up for Kane if not 2 = we let Llorente go and don't replace him or add another striker and this has been the main downfall this year, its negligence of the highest order from the recruitment team.
Lol, he has been their manager for 9 years.Simeone sets his team up with clear instructions. They run for him, they work hard for him and they know their role. 20 games in, do you think Mourinho has that?
3 times longer than any of Mourinho's appointments.Lol, he has been their manager for 9 years.
Ahh, he's failed the famously stringent SC personality test. Also, most opinion is based on Mourinho’s long-standing character and not the length of his Spurs tenure.
You’re watching Come Dine With Me fella. Sky Sports is on the other side.Ahh, he's failed the famously stringent SC personality test.
You haven't got to have him round for dinner.
3 times longer than any of Mourinho's appointments.
I do.I just want to ask how many here sincerely believe that our game plan would have been more positive and results would have been better if key players like Kane and Son was not injured?
So how many truly believe that game plans and results would have been positive if those two specially were not injured?
How many dressing rooms has Mourinho lost. I bet no Atleti fans would trade Simeone for Mourinho I do not think any sane person would. And how many trophies has he won in that time compared to Mourinho? How many league records has he broken? Don’t bring an inch to a dick swinging contest, you’re always going to lose.

Hold my beer. @Gb160 let's do this. The big question is, should the football season get postponed for a couple of weeks, how many times can this thread go round in circles discussing the same points?
