Paint that wagon elsewhereAssume this is a real bad time to fire up the Weghorst Wagon?
= no more signingsTroy Parrot not going on loan
RB has sen Tanganga come in and do well as well as Aurier improve. We went into the window desperately needing a RB, DM and ST. We are ending it without addressing any of these problem positions. Bergwijn and Fernandes were transfers of convenience rather than transfers of needs.
Means we are not bringing in a striker and hopefully Troy will get a chance. In meantime Moura will be dancing around upfrontTroy Parrot not going on loan
Falling around upfront you mean . Tripping over his laces and getting knocked down by a puff of windMeans we are not bringing in a striker and hopefully Troy will get a chance. In meantime Moura will be dancing around upfront
True, but I think the club felt they couldn't get their top RB and DM targets this window given financial constraints/clubs unwilling to sell in Jan and would prefer to wait and do it properly in the summer rather than getting some Stambouli-eque signings on the cheap that wouldn't really improve us long term.We went into the window desperately needing a RB, DM and ST. Sad thing is Mourinho will probably give him a run, he probably won't be ready then he'll be subject to vitriolic abuse from our supporters. Similar to how Skipp was slated in a cup match against Palace last season after Levy threw him and Pochettino under the bus.Troy Parrot not going on loan
Looking forward to the post mortem. Don't hold back on calling out the D-man too. Will give little insight close of window. Hopefully will make sense. Will name players (to a limit).
Thanks for that, means I can actually get some work done now.Troy Parrot not going on loan
Hope we wouldn't expect too much too soon from a 17 year old if he does indeed get a chance as a result of this. Playing up top alone is a big ask, and pretty much unprecedented at that age. We may be content to run Kane into the ground but I hope we can still use Parrott wisely.Means we are not bringing in a striker and hopefully Troy will get a chance. Agreed Aurier has improved, but Tanganga is not a RB and will be found out in that position.RB has sen Tanganga come in and do well as well as Aurier improve.
DM I would suggest is whata group of fans want, rather than Jose, as we haven’t been linked to that type of player (Berge was offered to us according to ITK)
ST we are looking for a loan but there is a dearth of talent. Fernandes and Stevie B give us flexibility to plug that hole with Son/Moura/Dele if nobody is signed.

The striker one is a bit of a fuck up though as we really should been able to bring in SOMEONE on loan at the very least.
Chelsea and Man u in same boat with regards to strikers and both having no luck like us.True, but I think the club felt they couldn't get their top RB and DM targets this window given financial constraints/clubs unwilling to sell in Jan and would prefer to wait and do it properly in the summer rather than getting some Stambouli-eque signings on the cheap that wouldn't really improve us long term.

True but Chelsea do at least have 2 fit strikers on their books, even if they didn't bring anyone in.Chelsea and Man u in same boat with regards to strikers and both having no luck like us.
FFS how many more times am I going to see this tonight. They are absolutely not in the same boat with regards to strikers. By Mourinho's own definition we have zero, United have two and Chelsea have three.Chelsea and Man u in same boat with regards to strikers and both having no luck like us.
I can't believe people are saying it's been a great window and that signing a striker would have been a bonus. We have no fit first team striker for the rest of the season and have averaged less than a goal a game since Kane got injured. By not signing a striker we have all but accepted that this season is a write off.
