Lots of patting on the backs and embracing the players. Obviously it’s only the start, but you can just tell the players all respect Mourinho. Who wouldn’t respect one of the most successful and proven managers of all time? You are going to listen and take notice of a manager of that pedigree.
One of the few managers who can meet a new squad of players and say "you know who I am" and instantly command respect.

That money was probably spent on the compensation and Jose's contract.
We’ll get a huge chunk of the compensation back when Poch takes another job, and it’s hardly as though cash flow is lacking. We’re one of the ten richest clubs in world football and the stadium revenue is paying for the stadium debt by itself, we can very well afford a fucking DM and RB.

Haha, in a crying-shame kind of way:

The January window was alway a cruel myth. I don't know how it started or why, but honestly this is Tottenham Hotspur. All of the sudden we were going to do an overhaul in JANUARY?

Certainly don't expect an overhaul, but at the same time I don't believe the story that he has no money to spend

Theres a bloke on COYS saying he will support spurs but not Mourhino .
Well am I dim in believing that when you support the club you support the manager as they are joined at the hip .
I cannot get my head round this I am not a big fan of Mourhino but he will have my 100% support because he is the spurs manager and we all need to pull together at times like we are experiencing now .
I hope we don't have too many with this view otherwise he will be starting with a negative vibe .

I mean, a sizeable proportion of the donuts here said they were going to will us to lose so Pochettino would get sacked...

Because "backing" a manager is about selling for as little as possible, right?

I assume Klopp hasn't been backed too?
Yes Klopp has been backed, a lot more than Poch was. As have another 13-14 other clubs in the premier league. My point was that our net spend per year under Poch was less than most in our league.

How often do we actually sign in January? Gallas, Dele, Lucas? Is that about it? Maybe there is money. Maybe there is time. Maybe there are targets. I don't know if all of those maybes can be pulled off in effectively within 10 weeks.
However, if we are looking back on a long run of really good results and pushing a top 4 spot, yes maybe in this scenario we'll bring one in.

Agree but one of the main contributor was Poch.
And I agree 100% hence why I said Harry was worked on by Poch. I’m not taking anything away from him and I hope my post wasn’t taken that way but let’s be honest he’s not at this point Mourinho.

Didn’t want him, but want him to do well.
He’s making me quite excited for what he could do with us if he has regained his spark.

Reckon he’ll make Aurier a worldie and could possibly turn eriksen’s form around. Not sure which is harder.

I've got a leaked copy of the Amazon documentary script - it ends with us beating Cheatski in the Champions League Final on 30th May 2020!
