A good example of why such statistics are nonsense.
I can certainly understand that, but at the same time, this was the CL Final...I do know what you mean, but it's pretty standard that everyone goes their own way after the final game.
After the debacle at Newcastle a few years back, he was left seething as everyone went their own way after the game.
Talking about celebrating a Utd winner in Madrid for instance. Look at the way Klopp responds to such suggestions, clear he isn't going anywhere.
Statistics never lie.A good example of why such statistics are nonsense.
For me that simply isn't flirting with Utd.Talking about celebrating a Utd winner in Madrid for instance. Look at the way Klopp responds to such suggestions, clear he isn't going anywhere.

While people are unhappy with Eriksen's performaces right now he is also our best passer and most likely to unlock defences. No but they can be used by people to defend terrible performances when they don't tell the full story.

We shouldn't blind ourselves that dropping him would get our work rate up but would likely lack creativity.

Or some decent fullbacks to provide some width...
Well no, but we don't need to take it to the extreme of if he doesn't play we have zero creativity do we? As adults we can accept that a lessening of something can happen without killing it is possible. We didn't lack creativity against Leicester or Bayern to be fair, he started neither.
You could be right. It's a trade off between making an average of 2 key passes per game of having him in playing half arsed and taking a starting spot of a player who is more likely to put in a shift and actually wants to be there...like Lucas.
We're better off with the latter.

Eriksen is still our best passer and if he gets dropped we will likely lose a bit of creativity. That is not the same as saying we will never create a chance ever again.

My post above agrees.Fair enough, as I said above, whilst I agree he has the best passing ability on the team, I don't think it's enough to warrant being in the team because of everything else that goes with it.
You could be right.
Right now our biggest issue on the pitch is a lack of work rate and togetherness. Playing those who are desperate to play could be our best option right now.
If he's been bought to play fullback. I have my doubts tbh.We bought one for 30m+ but he's injured
