Need to get back to basics and build for next season. Pick a formation and stick to it (not a diamond), drop the players who don't want to be here next season, make ourselves hard to beat and play a settled side week in week out.

I completely agree, but I still think the way out may be for Poch to be given the sack. It's harsh on him because IMO the root cause of our problems has been our transfer business -- took years to get in a Lo Celso type even though Poch had been chasing one for ages, fullbacks have been a problem since Walker left yet all we've done is bring in a teenager, DM been a problem for at least two seasons leading up to this summer and fuck all done about it, etc. At the end of the day though when the players stop playing the only way to shock them back into life is to make a change.
Its not Poch fault he has these players to work with. Our 2 central defenders are on last year of contract. Thats crazy secarino.

Why change the formation from the weekend? This diamond shit has left out defence totally exposed for the best part of a year, you can't have one midfielder covering the defence while the forwards have a little jog, and the two side midfielders get pulled this way and that.
Fucking disgraced our new ground. There are too many players who are not giving a toss - Rose, Vertonghen, Rose, Aurier - awful defending the lot of them. Poor positioning, full backs hoping their pace will get them out of trouble when they don't have a pace advantage, Aurier jumping into tackle after tackle, Rose, clearly doesn't give a proper toss so no wonder we wanted to sell him, lets get Davies in there. Toby would still be running backwards for Gnarby's first, Vertonghen has been off the ball all season (again, no surprise he didn't start the season if his hesitant/slow/passive defending was showing up in training). The fact Sissoko is still first choice when we know he doesn't have the top quality we should have is a sign of where the club is slipping to, and that's nothing against him as at least he puts in a shift.
If you want to play two upfront fine, but then have a better defensive game plan than chucking another attacker/Alli up there who isn't going to help track back.
It is so, so, so easy for any team to get past, round, over or through us, we will even give them a free freak goal, all we need to do is give away goals from set pieces and we will have the lot!
Poch needs to have a rethink, and he needs to drop some big players FOR GOOD. They aren't on the Spurs page anymore, and very few of them have the ultimate quality to get by with an attitude like they have. Maybe they have stayed too long, but of that starting line up Lloris, Winks, Sissoko (squad player), NDombele, Son and Kane are the only players I would not have a question mark over (and that's with giving Lloris a by for the howler at the weekend).
I don't know what Dier has done to not get a sniff of game time, I don't know why Kane and Alli aren't being played together with Son/Lamela/Moura out wide and tasked to help their full backs defensively (not sure Moura can do it but he can't simply be a second striker on the few occasions he gets a game)
We have lost all momentum and it needs a hard reset. The performances could not be worse, so lets play some of the youngsters and get a bit of passion back rather than these prima donnas

SC will refuse to admit it but this is 1000% the truth. We will never get to that next level as long as he is in charge.

How can the players be blamed? Did you guys watched the first half? We were all over them in the first 35 minutes.
If any, it just tells you the team can show up if they want to play for the right man, right tactics and right game plan.

And that’s the first time we have EVER let in 7 at home in any competition.
