Let’s hope this one continues into the Jan transfer window. If he has his heart set on us. Let’s make it happen. Offer Juve a sweetener not to sell him on the understanding we will have him then. Work with the image rights company to thrash out a deal in the mean time. Play the long game.

It seems like our window will only be decided by the end of August.

It would be perfect if none of Eriksen, Rose or Dybala are transferred by then. We can then replace Eriksen with Dybala in January with GLC already here.

Whilst I can appreciate that Dybala is furious at the failed move, it's a bit ironic that it was he who cashed in on his image rights in the first place. If you wrap yourself up in arrangements like this it will always make untangling difficult when you want out in the future
he was probably still a teenager when he signed that. and it was his manager that talked him into. predatory IMO

Because the word is that Juventus need to sell to balance their books. He will problably go to PSG or someone else.
They can't force him. And for FFP January is pretty much the same as now. But this time there could be more pressure to sell, and the deadline is the same for everybody.

Do we have a chance in January then or is he PSG bound?

The way I see it is that Juve will do everything they can to shift him to PSG. It's really up to the player to hold out if he so chooses. That is the only way we have a chance at getting him in January.

With a potential move for Neymar to Madrid on the horizon, PSG will be desperate to replace him with Dybala. Moreover PSG have the money to handle the image rights issue and offer a lucrative contract.

Before everyone sucks each other off, please read the words carefully: it says Dybala is furious at "the situation Juventus have put him in". Not furious he's not coming to Spurs. Basically Juve wanted him off their wage bill, then pulled the plug on a viable deal – that's why he's furious. Tenner says he never joins Spurs and is more than happy somewhere else.

Also: "Spurs were desperate not to miss out on a player they have spent three weeks painstakingly working to sign" and "Spurs decided to make their move in the final week of the window" are contradictions.

Does anyone else think that PSG stepped in because we fucked then with GLC sell on?

On the plus side, when I was doing a lineup with him and Son behind Kane I totally forgot Dele existed

Hopefully he can start to kick on a bit and make this less of a shame

I hope so too. Maybe him seeing us trying to strengthen in his position will make him up his game.

No, they can't, but after this shitshow he probably wants to leave Juventus. And he will not wait for us.
It depends. He doesn't seem entirely motivated by money, as he did seemingly reject Manchester United.

We need to get in his ear now to get him to reject PSG. But I agree chances are he will end up there in 3 weeks.

dont know why any ambitious young star would want to go to PSG. Win the league every year whether you play or not and get knocked out in the quarterfinals of the CL every year. I guess they pay well.

If his move to PSG depends on Neymar’s departure then I hope Neymar stays. Then we could give it another shot in January.

I’ve always really liked him as a player so was over the moon we were in for him. I thought we’d get him in fact from the moment he was linked. I just thought it all made sense. I didn’t think he’d go to Man Utd, it was obvious he didn’t fancy it. I was delighted it resurfaced in the last few days so not to get him is frustrating. But we’ve a good team and will score a lot of goals once we hit our stride.
