He was awful for Holland in the Euros imo

Really? I thought he was very good in the Ukraine game.

And then in the Austria game he squared that chance and got weirdly slaughtered for it.

He than got harshly dropped for last 16 game. So to say he was awful for Netherlands is a bit harsh.

From Romano and WLB, seems to me we are working hard on Adama and finding clubs for the unwanted players as priorities before locking up some of these deals.

Aouar and McKennie would be the dream, but if Winks wants to sit on his contract then what can we do?

We also need to find a willing buyer for Ndombele and his 200k a week wages - can't see it happening tbh
I reckon Ndombele will go on loan with an option or obligation, if anything. We may need to subsidize his wages. McKennie is on paltry wages and one wouldn't think that Auoar would command huge wages, coming from France and with no other big club in for him, so we could make it happen.

With Winks we should be firm and tell him that he's not going to play. The market has presented us with opportunities to strengthen the midfield and we need to capitalize on the season that we're getting from Kane. Be ruthless, tell him he's not in our plans and that if he wants any hope of resurrecting his international career he needs to go to the likes of Everton or Newcastle where he'll play every week. We've been far too sentimental with him IMO, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that McKennie suddenly becoming available will change the situation but realistically we're stuck with Winks and will miss out. It'll be a shame if so.

From WLB's info, it seems like we can pull the trigger on Aouar when we want to and are confident in getting a deal done for Traore.

If we sign those two, we'll have a great chance of breaking into the top 4 IMO.

Come on Don Fabio

So are we all going to ignore that Lyon want rid of Aour because of attitude problems?
Is it attitude or because he doesn't want to sign a new contract? Not seen anything that he has done to say why he has this apparent attitude issue?

It's certainly a concern. I was against it but then took one look at his stats and saw how productive he is, it was eye-opening.

We don't want another Ndombele situation, but a massive part of the Ndombele situation is that we paid a club record fee for him and he's our joint-highest earner. If we could get rid of him for €20m without suffering massive losses, and/or if we could find a club willing to pay his wages, he'd already be gone. We'd be signing Auoar on a very modest fee and likely modest wages, so getting rid wouldn't be nearly as difficult if it doesn't work out.

Paratici should know him well. I've read that Fabio plays a big role in personally coaxing players to join his clubs, so he should have a read on the player, who he has been chasing for years.

Personally I would prefer a playmaker who didn't come with any baggage but if Auoar is the best option out there, it may be worth the risk.

Give his squad number to Oliver Skipp and let him train with the U23s, he'll soon bugger off in January.

There is still chance the numbers will change right? It's only confirmed after the closure of the windows correct? He's a waste of the great no. 8 and I really hope Skipp can have it.

I thought there was a report Bayern offered Tolisso and €20m for him and we didn't take it?

The point I'm making is that €20m isn't enough for Levy to sanction a sale of Ndombele because it'd be such a big loss. The Tolisso aspect was never something we'd have considered, he's incredibly injury prone.

We would not be faced with this dynamic if Auoar didn't work out, because we won't be investing much in him to begin with. Bringing in a young, highly rated player for €20-25m is fundamentally different than splashing out a record fee.
