Have seen debates raging across here and social media from people on one hand claiming that keeping Kane, getting Son a new contract and replacing loads of the deadwood with exciting young players means the good times are on their way, whilst others saying that we've failed to strengthen obvious deficiencies in the first team and have left ourselves woefully exposed for cover and backup to key star players.
How do you rate it out of 10? Am keen to see where the majority fits.
Personally - I'd give it a 6. I see this window a bit like some of those we had in the Comolli era where we were building for the future not the present. I can see us having a strong team based around a good young spine of Romero, Sarr, Skipp, Gil and Scarlett in the future, but I don't really see us coming any higher than 5th this season unless Liverpool completely implode again - and that's a best case scenario if we completely ignore all of the cups as we just don't seem to have the depth in attack to compete on multiple fronts. There are gonna be some booooooooooooring games to watch this season too.
