I love him, but anyone on a booking is on a tightrope in this kind of game second half. Need to bring Emerson off asap.

The ref has let too much go and that's why we ended up with that situation at the end of the half.

VAR can’t overrule a decision made to not give a penalty. But they can rescind a red card.

He wasn't getting a yellow for the tackle, how hard is it to understand. Havertz was getting the yellow for swiping at Richarlison before Ziyech came in.

That why Havertz got a yellow as he was hardly involved in the scuffle.
It’s a uphill battle, people really aren’t looking at what happened are they ?

It’s either a straight red card for violently raising your hand into an opponents face or two yellow cards: one for the initial foul and one for raising your hand.

What the FUCK is VAR doing getting involved? It’s not a clear and obvious error in the slightest.
Didn’t the ref ask for assistance as he didn’t see how pushed/punched

Ziyech wasn't booked for the tackle, because it was a foul by Havertz in the first instance that started it all off.

We have seen red cards for less. Ziyech raised his hand with no intention to just wanna push Emerson on the shoulder. You don't push your hand so near the neck for merely just a push on the shoulder. He's a lucky twat.

Whole things a joke, ref had the yellow out to book him for the challenge and then he throws a hand afterwards (y)
It was for Havertz not Ziyech. Seriously do any of you actually watch the game.

Do wish we'd show this kind of feistiness against Arsenal etc.
We'd get seven reds doing this against Arsenal because they'd just go down and cry.

The reason this always happens against Chelsea is because they're also up for a fight.

Look I don't think it's a straight red for just the push. Couple of things though, firstly he was getting a yellow for the tackle so the push should have been a second yellow. Secondly, this nonsense JFH is talking about how Ziyech meant to push his chest but slipped is irrelevant. 90% of tackles the player means to take the ball, they get it wrong and get sent off.

I've seen some punches on the pitch in my time but I don't recall, in this modern era, ever seeing someone hit in the face without it being a red card.
As for the game it seems to me that Chelsea are a lot more highly strung,
