On the half volley whilst running? Huddlestone maybe but can't remember Toby doing anything like that, it's extremely difficult
To be fair he over hit it a bit other wise a striker of Llorente's quality would have volleyed that top bins 9 out of 10 times.

I'm still trying to find a compilation of his performance against Sheffield but each video that is uploaded is shortly taken down for copyright issues.

After passionately defending Tanguy last summer, I can't even explain to you all how good it feels to be completely vindicated after every performance. The man is just incredible. At this point, the struggle won't be finding a suitor to sell him to, but instead figuring out how to hold onto him for the duration of his contract and beyond.

Well done TLoT I had written him off after the disaster of his first season (not on skill but mentality).

I made a compilation of his performance against Bournemouth last year to show that he was improving and that things were looking up and I got laughed at by a lot of posters who down played his performance and were sure he would get sold.

Decided to watch the Bournemouth game again and make a quick compilation of Tanguy's performance.

Things I noticed:
  • His work rate has improved significantly . He did tire towards the end of the game but that is to be expected, given that was his 1st 45 minutes in the restart.
  • I think he'll suit Jose's counter attacking setup as his forward runs and eye for a pass are some of the best in the team.
  • We need a DM. GLC and Tanguy will dominate majority of the teams we come up against. Winks is not a DM.
  • Lamela really needs to release the ball quicker.
  • I'm not sure who angered Davies but he really tried break a couple of the Bournemouth players in that 2nd half :ROFLMAO:

He is a genuinely unique player. I cannot think of another player playing today with his style with the balL, how he pivots and comes away with it when surrounded by opposition players

Special player who will only get better

Not sure how it came on my feed but declan rice went live on tiktok. Firstly I hate West ham as much as the next guy but he seemed a very decent guy

Anyway one of the questions to him was what do you think about Ndombele

He said such a silky player such a top player and all the spurs England boys rave about him when they meet up for international duty

He also said the spurs 3-3 game was one of his toughest games (don't think he was trolling) and that Kane is the best player he has played with

Thanks. Shows the importance of having more progressive passers in the team. Tanguy keeps play ticking over and plays the odd defense splitting pass, but from the video, you can see that he often passes back or sideways and it is those players who misplace a pass.
