Hopefuly he will get a run out in the second half again. Getting him onto the pitch will be the quickest way to build his fitness up

Because as Mourinho he only started training 2 days before the Watford pre season match, which means he's only really had 2 weeks of full training.

He had a knee injury and covid, it's perfectly acceptable that he's still building his fitness currently. Mourinho seems much happier with him.

Hopefully gets a good half hour Thursday. Jose seems happy with his progress

Reading between the lines I think he has had COVID-19.

At least the manager is talking about him in a positive way this season. Sounds like he is knuckling down.

Jose talked about him positively during the restart and he still never played.

No doubt he had COVID and might be getting his legs back, but it just seems like one thing after another with that guy.

positive that he didn't say no to Lo Celso starting suggests he is in good condition and he's just had a niggle.

Lo Celso strikes me as a player that’ll run through a brick wall for his team. Loved his comment to Mourinho when he was in the training room during the Documentary.

spot on.
He seemed much sharper vs Everton. Unfortuantely not quite up to speed but think he played our only midfield splitting forward pass of the entire 2nd half that i can remember, not where we need him to be yet but promising signs. As long as Lo Celso is back fit we should be able to get by until Ndombele is fully up to match sharpness. If not then we need to also sign a creative CM who can be relied upon but ideally Lo Celso and Ndombele can be those guys week in week out.

Did anyone else think that the interpreter needs sacking?

He completely changed the tone of everything that was said, and left out more than half.
Levy was trying to be all softly softly with him, then the interpreter just said it incredibly bluntly and made the whole situation worse.

Ndombele looks very up for it. Has hit 4 brilliant forward passes in the first 5 mins he’s been on, 4 more than Sissoko did all game. If he can play like his for 90 mins we will be transformed as a team.

Made the difference. More of that please.
And yet a quick dip into the match thread 20 minutes ago and you’d think he was the devil. Must remember to temper my expectations when I go into that thread

He’s why we need to putting every dollar we have into a real DM.

We have to have him on the pitch. We have to free him of defensive responsibilities.

Only player at the club currently that can pass a ball accurately into our forwards. Madness not to play him, let alone sell him.

The key to our season is making it work with him. He and Lo Celso together on the pitch can create plenty of chances for the forward line that will be in front of.

Jose needs to suck it up and give him as much time as possible each game. Genuinely has top 5 midfielder in the world potential. That sequence for his goal was something you would see Iniesta do (granted shit opposition but he's done this against plenty of others).

We were infinitely better with him Højbjerg and Lo Celso. Harry is almost through but for a slightly weighty GLC pass after some slick play from Ndombele soon after he came on.

Then the feed went for 25 minutes.

All that said about him being a lazy fuck with no drive, an awful attitude::

I can almost guarantee if he doesn’t get himself together and get on the plane to Plovdiv with real intent we lose the match entirely. Hero.
