Didn't persuade Burnley he was worth a shot though.
Didn't we have ITK saying that we rejected their buy option at some point?Didn't persuade Burnley he was worth a shot though.
I don’t entirely understand why he has never really been given a chance. He doesn’t look terrible at all. Really surprised he can’t find a club to take a chance on him.
Pepe? Nicole?Do Lille need an electrifying winger who already speaks french?
Yes but other than the speaking French bit not so sure that rest relates to GKNDo Lille need an electrifying winger who already speaks french?

LidlI’m sure he could do a job for somebody.
This was exactly Sissoko's situation iirc.I reckon he's been a lazy bastard in training. Would be iconic if he's started putting an absolute shift in and gets in Poch's good books.
But then he's our third choice LW (after Son and Dele) and the first two things you'd realistically expect when you have to field such a player is that they a) keep it simple and b) put in a shift. If what you're saying about his pre-season is correct then I don't think him taking up a squad space is a disaster.Thought he's done well pre season, and 80% of what he does is decent enough to play PL with bottom half teams no problem imo. But that 20% is the problem, as to me the thing he lacked was composure and i'm not sure how you teach that ? Great instinctive trick to skip away from marker and great cross on the run for Lamela goal....then a couple of times he's had space in front of him, gallops towards opponents box, gets confronted by defenders and either over runs ball or runs into defender - like in his head he just couldn't fathom what to do next, whereas the good stuff was instinctive. Can't fault the effort he's shown pre season though, tracking back, working hard. Someone must buy him surely, unless he's pricing himself out of a move with wage demands ?
