Rather it be Dier. I don't mind Sanchez staying with his recovery pace.
If dier and sanchez didn't have a say and forest actually wanted dier then yeah. But I doubt dier wants to go there and I doubt forest want him.Rather it be Dier. I don't mind Sanchez staying with his recovery pace.
And yet, Johnson was their preferred option...Going in big on this guy whilst Brentford are trying to snap up a miles better player in Nico Gonzalez
Brentford already tried to get Johnson but had their bid rejected. There must be something in the data (as they are so heavily data led and we are turning to that too). I'm not personally sure about him myself but there must be somethingGoing in big on this guy whilst Brentford are trying to snap up a miles better player in Nico Gonzalez
Personally I agree with you but key to me is if Ange wants him. Glad to hear he does and I’m fully onboard with getting this man what he wants. Our interest goes back two years. Involves couple our players, and at least one player. Ange rates him, but I don’t.
Yep. I’m not 100% sold on Johnson, but I am 100% sold on Ange. So if he wants him, go for it.Personally I agree with you but key to me is if Ange wants him. Glad to hear he does and I’m fully onboard with getting this man what he wants.
I agree with this take. Definitely don't want to pay 50 mil but if it can be done for 30 mil plus some or one of our deadwood, I'm all for it.
Rather pay 30 mil for him over orban, as Johnson is at least proven in the prem to an extent, even with a very rubbish Forest team. At 22 he's got plenty potential to be tapped into by the right manager.
Personally feel Ange is the man for bringing out the best in Johnson. He has the raw ingredients to be a top winger or CF. We are lacking some serious pace in our team and I for one think he can genuinely displace Kulusevski or Richarlison. Can't underestimate how important pace is in the right system.
P.s he is a fancy foreign player from Wales .
Your analogy holds water time and again when we analyse what players have left relegated clubs for elite Premier clubs and strengthened them no end. This is like reading the Deki chat before he signed all over again. People love a player tearing up a weaker league (Orban) but performing well in a poor footballing side means your ‘average’.
Stop making assessments based on the style of football a player is forced to play and look at how they perform in moments that will translate to our set up. Johnson is excellent in tight spaces, can beat men both ways, is composed on the ball and works hard off it. Everything Ange wants in a winger.
Pretty much this so long as it doesn't then transpire as the same level of "Conte happy with compromise of Spence" .Yep. I’m not 100% sold on Johnson, but I am 100% sold on Ange. So if he wants him, go for it.
