If Newcastle get champs league surely he goes there over us.
Indeed going into the final year of his contract, levy will certainly smell the blood.Hi welcome to the wonderful world of Tottenham Hotspur where we absolutely would do that as long as we feel we can make a profit from it
Ugarte and Scott would be phenomenal purchases. Personally i'd rather buy those two then Maddison but i know some may disagree. Scott could 100% play a role straight off the bat imo.We won’t be paying 20+ million to loan him back for a year. I can assure you we đôi not be doing that…
Doesn't Slot play a 4 3 3 or a 4 2 3 1 formation? One of the more reliable papers in Portugal had us in for Ugarte also. Seems like we will be going three in the middle.
I really hope we go for Alex Scott even if we loan him back for a year. (Apparently he is a Spurs fan)
Yeah they've wanted him for ages. I'd be surprised if he doesn't go there. If Newcastle get champs league surely he goes there over us.
New save - Taribo West on a free was the definition of ‘hand in glove’.Bakayokooooooo! Thats his hattrick
And yet Levy will demand +100 mil for Kane with 1 year left... that's how we roll the new manager better get used to it.Indeed going into the final year of his contract, levy will certainly smell the blood.
Appreciated bud! I do find that approach to the mental aspect of the game fascinating. I realise that more positive, proactive tactics and an arm around the shoulder manager can go a long way but for some teams I feel there are more ingrained issues that go deeper then that. I do think that sort of outside of the box thinking could go a long way for a team like us.Very good informed post.
Also enjoyed reading the article on Gallardo’s assistant coach you linked awhile back aswell
Depends where he wants to be...London or Newcastle..Yeah they've wanted him for ages. I'd be surprised if he doesn't go there.
We have just bought players for a manager who actively didn’t want them in Spence and Danjuma.Mike McGrath reporting we’re leading the race for Maddison this summer. Adds more fuel to the idea they already know who their man is and are starting to plan. No chance we’re seriously looking at a ca. £50mil signing without knowing if the manager is on board. Especially without a DoF in place
not a bad thing on this occasion though as I think he is probably the most under rated player in the league at the moment.Indeed going into the final year of his contract, levy will certainly smell the blood.
Plus CL and contract offer. I'd imagine what is happening with Kane would have an effect as well. If he thinks he could come here and develop a report with the Englands No 9 he may well choose us even if we are in the EL but im no sure that will happen as id be surprised if Kane wants to hang around at this point.Depends where he wants to be...London or Newcastle..
Why out of curiosity? They seem to have a very good set up there and are buying very well. Unfortunately they seem to be building a very solid team without throwing crazy cash, like Chelsea, around which is what most assumed they would be doing. I would think as a player they would be a very attractive preposition atm espechiallyif they get CL. Unless your talking about who their owners are but I doubt most players really care about that as long as the paycheque is good and the team has direction and are on the rise, which they are. It's a possibility, I would be thinking twice if I were him.
Also with Poch was his absolute refusal to accept alternative to moon on a stick signingsOne of the main issues with Poch was the injuries and then loss of dembele who proved to be irreplaceable, if only we had him in the CL final, might changed the outcome
I really hope this does not happen.I think (and not ashamed to admit) hope that 62k fans chanting Poch name on Saturday will tip Levy over the edge and get the great man back.
He’ll have a hell of a task on his hands to get rid of all the deadwood (a few of which are of his making) but there isn’t a man who will have more credit in the bank with fans when the inevitable drop off comes as we look to find ourselves again especially once Kane leaves. The whole club is in need of coming together for a reset and for that it can only be one man for the job. I’d get him in now today. If Kane doesn’t like it then so be it, see you later Harry.
I think he will go elsewhere, probably NewcastleWith his contract expiring in a year I would reckon the fee won't be more than £30 million + add ons, but Madders would be a good signing for pretty much any manager. Very versatile player.
Scott looks a tremendous talent indeed but actually think we are well stocked middle of the park and do think Bissouma is primed for a redemption under new management and become a mainstay in the middle next to Bentancur.Ugarte and Scott would be phenomenal purchases. Personally i'd rather buy those two then Maddison but i know some may disagree. Scott could 100% play a role straight off the bat imo.
