Arsenal are shit and leaking goals right now, we must must must attack them, and at the moment with our injured, the only way we can do that is by playing Defoe and Ade. If we sit back we will get hammered again

The rest of the games are 50/50, they really could go either way.

Can't say I'm optimistic in the slightest!

Who's got that out of contract player list? Any creative mids on there :) ??

if we lose to a an Arsenal team that's struggling and follow that up with a failure at home to West Ham, it's going to be a long way back for AVB in the minds of the tabloid reading boo boys. Everyone needs to start praying for Dembele to recover, our record with and without him must be alarming.

We can't go a flat 442 against Arsenal IMHO. They'll pass us to death. We're awful at keeping possession as it is despite being out numbered in there.
They are definitely there for the taking, and we owe them following last years horrendous collapse. Dempsey has surely played himself out we the team. Walker continues to struggle for form and Friedel is Friedel. Safe but limited. I know team I'd like to see but think we'll see, if fit;
Friedel
Walker Gallas Caulker Vertonghen
Sandro Dembele
Lennon Adebayor Bale
Defoe

Mate i don't look at fixtures like that, you say we have hard games coming up and then an easier festive fixture list.

Well would you have predicted Man U an away win and Wigan a home defeat? which of those 2 fixtures did you deem easier?

I do get your point, but in the prem anyone can turn you over if you don't turn up and likewise you can beat anyone on your day, for me i don't look at our fixture list so much, i am more concerned with our INJURY list, that is far more crucial as to what we achieve IMO.

Not easier per se, but the run of games doesn't look quite so bad and yes its so competitive now its very difficult to second guess where points will be picked up or lost. The point I was really making was the fact that we are playing a lot of our so called competitors in the next run of games and that's pretty significant in my mind.

Of course the injury situation is what we are all on waiting on, but until we have that information there isn't much to discuss from that point of view is there? Just tried to spark some conversation by starting a thread that wasn't focusing on AVB - shoot me :)
