Sky Italy reporting they are in talks to sign Belotti and Correa. Would be an odd move to sign 3 strikers this summer and only sell 1. If above is true then perhaps Martinez may still be moving.

It is odd how the agent went for talks last week, yet since then I've not seen anything concrete come out regarding Martinez and a new contract

I feel like we had news about positive contract extension talks with Son and then signed an extension about 6 months later....

This is not happening and literally every source on this is reporting that it is not happening....

Inter probably just lining up a couple targets and will sign off on one.

Like we have supposedly been doing. I don't see them selling Martinez now unless someone came in with a massive bid.

Oh yeah I agree, but it is just odd given the timing. Just the agent doing good work for his client. But they were so loud and open about going into talks, then nothing...

These things take time, don't they. We've heard about Son signing new contract for a few months before it became official.

I think there could be good will on both sides, but the devil is in the details: bonuses, clauses, release clauses. Inter want him to give a payrise, he's now the biggest star in the club. Martinez wants to earn more AND work on a contract that won't hold him to Inter, probably with some clauses in case they don't get to the CL next season or Barcelona/Real/City come calling.

Di Marzio article from yesterday
Inter are determined to give Simone Inzaghi another significant attacker before the transfer window closes. While talks with Lazio for Correa are ongoing, the nerazzurri have also set their sights on Andrea Belotti.

Inter have opened talks with Torino for the Italian international who has just one year left on his deal, the negotiation could be concluded on the basis of €20/22 million, so about ten million less than what Lazio are currently asking for Correa.

These are parallel negotiations, it will come down to Simone Inzaghi's choice as well as Lazio's willingness to lower their current demands for Correa.

No wonder you freak out every other day when you make these kind of things up. Lol
I'd rather call it an educated guess in a sense that there very may well be an involvement from us that is holding up the potential contracts as Kane's future is still uncertain, and my frustration has been towards the clubs poor window so far.
