Leeds break Ipswich’s 21 game unbeaten streak and win 4-3, Rodon starts and had an own goal, reviews of his performance are mixed, some say pretty good, others that he should have done better for the goals.

0-0 clean sheet for Joe against Sheffield Wednesday although the owls are quite bad so they’ll have hoped for more. Spence got ten minutes at the end as well.

Sent off tonight against Hull. Second yellow
Quick scan through Leeds Twitter, they mostly think he played alright and the first yellow shouldn’t even have been a foul much less a card. Ayling the RB once again their worst player, Spence will walk into this team if he can get healthy.

Talked to a friend who's a Leeds supporter yesterday. He was over the moon with Rodon, claimed he was the best CB they've had in years.
Hope he's as happy with him when the season is over.

carry a flick-knife onto a pitch and wear knuckle dusters and Leeds fans will still think a yellow is a little harsh.

started in Leeds 2-1 win at home to Bristol. Played well according to FotMob as he got a 7.5 match rating

Was subbed off on 63 minutes with an injury but Leeds were four up by then so maybe precautionary.
He's settled in well there and Leeds are leading the pack chasing the two runaway leaders so wouldn't be surprised to see a permanent deal agreed for him.

It would be great if they have an option to make it permanent in January to boost the coffers then.

They're 3rd at the moment and I doubt they'll catch Ipswich and Leicester but they'll want to strengthen themselves for the play off battle so unfortunately as they've already got Rodon any money they spend in January will likely be on a new body.

Leeds fans are loving him. Been reliable, but also helping their composure right across their defence.

Even under Bielsa they were complaining that their CB issues were never addressed. They 100% want him in permanently.

Great to hear and hopefully we can get some decent money from any transfer deal with Leeds.

Side note: Hope Spence's rehab is going well - i'm convinced that though he won't make it with us, we'll likely try and make a deal with Palace for Spence and money for Eze in the summer.

You'd think they'd be willing to pay at least 15m if they are promoted.
Assume he will still be in contract with us, so we can get a transfer fee?

I think £15m would be fair, but it would be much more likely if they do get promoted. Knowing Levy we'd get an extra £5m or something if they stay up then too

I watched the second half of their game on Friday and he completely shut Leicester down, they couldn't get past him at all. He was the best player on the pitch for that half.

It really sounds like he's doing well there. He has 18 months left on his contract and his loan is until the end of the season. I don't think Leeds have anything to gain by trying to sign him permanently in Jan unless they really think we're going to recall him and sell him. So if you think his notional value is £15m then unfortunately we're likely to get less than 10 in the summer with one year left.

But that would still be fine with me

They dont have to buy him in January, just commit to buy in summer, then with come clever accounting it can free up some cash for January
