He still looks a little lost when he has the ball, but he put in a good shift when we needed him.

Could be an option when we don't want to play Skipp and Hojbjerg, at least until we get a new CM.

My point being, we have posters crying out for Winks, Dele, Dier to be sold. We can't just offload a load of homegrown players without thinking about the quota. If, after a couple of months of Conte training, players like Winks can show they can at least be a reasonable squad player, some posters are going to have to ditch the bias and accept these players may still be here.

Of course, if we do find homegrown players to replace them and bring through some academy players like Dane then it's ok. Just don't be so sure we're going to have a big clearout of players like Winks

Could we not call back Sarr from Metz in Jan early so he has another 6 months to work with conte. We should be doing everything to bring people in i Jan. even if it costs a few quid rather than waiting till they’re on a free in the summer

Harry Winks might just be the kind of guy who drinks in information from a guy like Conte and raises his game. He must know that he has allowed his career to flat line and this is his chance to catch the eye of a world class manager. I was at the game on Thursday and I was very impressed by Winks especially in light of the groans around me when we heard he was coming on. Those groans soon changed to "go on Harry" as he started getting on the ball and making runs. I would be delighted to be proven wrong about him, he needs to improve quite a few aspects of his game but if he is given simple instructions about where to be and what to do he could resurrect his Tottenham career.
