But realistically, what would the club have to do to match the level of ambition of some of the elite clubs?
At a push, I could see us going all out for the top four and a crack at one of the domestic cups. And that's if we give Ange sufficient backing and don't leave the squad short in key positions as we almost always do. However, I can't see us rivalling the likes of Man C or Madrid any time soon, even if we gave Ange a couple hundred million to spend on new CBs this window.
