There are other very very good candidates available. I mean Nagelsmann and Gallardo are right there. This really doesn’t have to be a disaster. Question is will Levy pick wisely.

One thing is for certain, now there is zero excuse not to tie up a DoF asap.

No update my end but if that really is it and he's staying at Feyenoord then I honestly give up with this club. We are a complete and utter joke! Slot is honestly perfect for us and if we can't prize him away from Feyenoord then something is seriously seriously wrong!
Don't agree, prising a manager away from his title winning and subsequently Champions League entering side would be tough for a lot of clubs, let alone one going through such a huge transition.

Considering WLB said Slot and Amorim were the leading candidates I’m expecting/hoping we now start getting noise about Amorim being in ‘pole position’ for the job.

I know some of you can’t shake the fact he plays wing backs but personally I think he has just as many credentials to be our manager as Slot did.
I've got no qualms with his wing backs, but the fact that he's just come fourth in a traditionally three-team league with a number of talented players does give me some pause...

The guy literally came out a day ago saying it was a dream to manage in the PL.

Lets be honest, JN is and always has been the best candidate. Whilst I liked Slot and the football he played I've never believed he was the best candidate. People voted in their masses for him as he was a good option and people thought he would come to us.

There is a simple solution, get JN and DoF that are compatible and let them get on with it. The best candidate is available should you create the right environment (DoF). Just go and do it.

Just a thought, could Levy now go against his instincts and hire up the list rather than down ie go back to JN and give him whatever he wouldn’t before. He has to know the shit storm coming if we end up with Rogers or similar.

Meh on Amorim for me.

Not gonna lie barring JN everyone else is a lesser option now IMO. Doesn't mean someone else won't work out and I will back whoever it turns out to be, but I'm now going to be underwhelmed.

Love the narrative forming here that is Spurs fault for missing out on Slot rather than him being convinced to stay at his League winning and soon to be Champions League competing side? The entitlement is real!!
Nobody could blame the guy for that, the blame and frustration comes because we're 3 months into a manager search and somehow stuck at the starting line.
