Having been critical I actually though he looked a little stronger yesterday and it helped having Porro as a shield.
The double standard is incredible.Has anyone seen that foul on Raya by Solanke for the Bournemouth disallowed goal? If ever there was evidence that refs are treating Vicario differently, this is it. It’s infuriating because our poor record on set pieces is largely down to similar fouls against Vicario that are not given. The refs have decided that Vicario is weak but other GKs are not.
Solanke barely touched him, as well. Just fucking shocking...Has anyone seen that foul on Raya by Solanke for the Bournemouth disallowed goal? I can see why they gave it as a foul. Solanke does move into Raya’s space without trying to win the ball. But it is soft, and certainly softer than any challenges on Vicario. Ultimately, VAR defers a lot to the on field ref’s judgment in these situations, and the on field refs are clearly not applying their judgment consistently.Solanke barely touched him, as well.
