I have to say that I have been a bit disappointed with the Euro 2012 this year.
I think that most managers have not selected the best squads or team selections.
There are so many good players out there, but they tend to choose the less interesting players.
It has to do with what other people think about their selection for the respective country. The managers don't dare to make "unmainstream" opinion selections.
I am waiting for a manager to do something different. When you are in a position to manage a country, I think you should be in charge -- not the mainstream.

The best example was Holland this year. A bad squad and team selection caused the damage.

Ok, I'll bite. I think its been one of the best international tournaments in years. Despite limp performances from the 2 home nations.

Euro's always better quality than the World Cup, the lack of poor sides from Asia and Africa helps

Fair enough - that is your opinion....

I will not dwell more on that, but again today, it was a poor match, I think.

Italian football is boring in general. I would like Germany to win, but I will watch it from a neutral point of view.

Whist I agree this was the case for England but other countries other than Holland, seemed ok with dropping big players not performing and this may have led to the most exciting tournament in recent years yes the last match was boring but I think that was more to do with spain being poor yesterday

Everyone else, on the other hand, thinks it's been a very good tournament. Maybe it's seemed even better than it has been because of the utter shite that was the South Africa World Cup.
