Ambition?
I don't believe there's a demand in the club to be and want the very best, we're happy to be there about's. To be a real top club, second best isn't acceptable and it flows from the top down to the playing squad who ultimately seem a little too comfortable at Spurs, although this...
Fuck me, people actually think changing the manager is the answer...? I thought 'just playing attacking football' was the answer?
Perhaps, just maybe, its having the courage of your convictions, giving a manager the tools to implement his style of football and god forbid a bit of time to get...
He made a decision, crossed waved his arms to say no penalty, he seemed to be defaulting to 'no' and then let VAR correct anything 'clear and obvious' which I assume is what Ange is saying.
Problem with that is you then get into 'not enough to overule the on-field decision' territory which...
Yeah, I think the concern is that there's glaring issues with what we're doing defensively but so far no appetite to address it.
Attacking wise we'll get better with time/better players but we could deal, certainly with the set pieces, right now, just seems odd.
Other sides get those given, we feel a double whammy of no penalty and they run up the other end and score...
How Oliver doesn't give the penalty in the second half straight away is beyond me too, 5 yards away looking straight at it as Rice boots Davies. Second penalty all season
We played well enough but lacking in the final third. We were the better side in general play but gifted them 3 pathetic goals.
The problem right now is you don't need to be good to beat us, the blueprint is there for all to exploit.
Handed them the game, you can't give teams 2-3 goals a game and expect results. None of their goals have come from dominance or good play.
If you're the opposition, play for corners and counters and you win...
Fuck me those corners!!!!!
I think it was a perfect result for us going into this game, they battered a terrible Chelsea side missing half their team having just got knocked out the cup. Arsenal love to get over hyped off the back of results against mediocre sides and then come in for a fall...
I'm more concerned about...
Wasn't the point of that pathetic day that it happens every single year without fail... but lets forget the 6 years straight recently when it didn't happen shall we?
Could well be tiredness and I know he's been flogged by Arteta but and this is a genuine question... does he do more than pick it up edge of the box cut in and shoot or get a cross in? There's no denying he's effective at that but I've not seen at lot else every time I see them however I'm not...
