But didn't the rumours say Poch wanted Toby out a long time ago? Stretching all the way back to the contract offer agreed and then reneged by Toby's representatives?
I want Toby to stay and think he will be great under Mourinho. But I don't really get the fuzz about this. If there was a some...
Vertonghen, who has been of interest to Roma and Bayer Leverkusen, was also open to holding talks over an extension under previous manager Mauricio Pochettino - and he was told he was not for sale in the summer.
?
Still, he could be looking to players of a similar quality and seeing how much they are earning on free transfers. I'm just speculating, I have no idea what his priorities or the clubs are, but he's turning 31 this season so perhaps we wouldn't want to splash out on the longest contract?
I...
Doesn't that sound a bit unlikely? He's been playing 4 years on a contract that is dwarfed by similar quality players at different clubs. I guess he's looking for his final big contract, a massive pay day? And wouldn't that be more likely as a free agent in the summer with sign on fee etc.?

Not sure whether this has been posted but a very interesting piece
How Mourinho replaced Pochettino: Inside Tottenham's turbulent day

Actually think it's a great fit. Mourinho seems to like this type of player. So I wouldn't be too worried about Coco's future - definitely think he'll play a role moving forward.
Can't see it happening under any circumstances. He rejected Real Madrid to stay another year at Hoffenheim before joining Leipzig. They have a real shot at winning the league this season. I'd say he's even more unlikely than Rodgers.
They played together against Newcastle in a 4-2-3-1, but I think Moura is too ineffective in wide positions. Even the games he starts there, such as against Olympiacos, he has very little impact and is eventually moved to a central position.
I'm not sure that's how it works, or should work at least. Players like Kovacic, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez, Keita etc. weren't signed as squad players, but they have all found themselves on the bench at times due other players performing. That's how it should be.
We really shouldn't replace not...
Appointing Mourinho would be an admission of defeat for Levy. He's spend the better part of his tenure here talking about "doing things differently" and not operating like the other big clubs, well appointing Mourinho would be exactly that. I'm not necessarily opposed to it but can't see it...
Received a little knock after 20 minutes and looked a bit uncomfortable, but finished the half so he is probably fine. Weak opponent obviously but he did play well.

Has been speaking to Danish media again. Says it's his most difficult time at the club, dismisses the idea that players looking to leave have influenced the performances and that we have been...
According to Danish media (well, and the photo in the article) we have agreed to a 'partnership' with Danish side Brøndby. The article doesn't mention anything specific but I suppose it's youth-related. https://www.bt.dk/superligaen/b.t.-afsloerer-broendby-i-samarbejde-med-tottenham
