Ange isn't going anywhere, he's not worried for his job either. He's giving failing players extra playing time to prove themselves. Hard to watch for us.
I think we were about 5 mins in and we knew which way the referee was going to go. So biased it was ridiculous and I used the word literally - some of the things he was doing just didn't make sense. We knew how the big decisions were going to go.
He needs to start against Chelsea and Son has to play on the left wing. Son had a bad game yesterday but looked a lot better as a winger. Johnson has to play on the right meaning that Kulusevski plays central, with Sarr and Holjbjerg in midfield. Richarlison is the key to those changes being...
The set piece defending would be improved 100% by them coaching Vicario and getting him over this thing when he gets impeded. If he can’t sort it out with help from the coaching team then it’s too big a weakness to continue and he’ll need to go. There’s ways of helping him and giving him...
We are in the Park Lane so obviously a very long way from that end but it genuinely looked like it was a skewed clearance, ping ponged about a little and then fell for Mickey. We couldnt see anything wrong and the celebrations were absolutely chaotic. Coming down after that is so shattering.
Maybe. I haven’t had any pundits telling me what happened yet In micro detail. I watched it in the stadium and haven’t watched any TV highlights. I was watching what was going on pitch wide not what tv cameras were highlighting on and wasn’t highlighting every weakness in slow motion. I’ll have...
Yes, I don’t get why I will suddenly have about four people standing next to me in one seat space! And they’re always lairy twats that don’t like it when I’m obstinately protecting my space. And they got all eighteen stone of me on them when VDV ’scored’.
Before half time there was a skirmish on the concourse in the South Stand that ended up outside and with a stand-off with the police. I didn’t see it and just overheard someone talking about it but two Arsenal fans were involved, one of them ending up covered in blood and barriers being jumped...
I don’t think their keeper was ever in camera shot. Absolutely disgraceful performance. Are they leaving all of their energy on the training field? So lethargic. This is a 43 game season for gods sake. There should be bundles of energy left in them.
You’re right, he wasn’t brilliant. Don’t think anyone would expect such a weak tackle from Udogie for the first and the Porro brain fart for the second to be fair.
There seems to be an element of panic to his play that leads to poor decisions. I'm sure he's worked with sports psychologists at his age but it's something that can also be worked out with experience. Time is ticking for him but he is so close to being a brilliant player. I just don't know.
My overriding thoughts on this match were that West Ham were forced to play for a draw at home and that we need to think about buying Pacqueta, Bowen and Kudus off of them.
I think Maddison is just as poor as Deki for us at the moment. Playing Deki as a number 10 is an option as he seems to enjoy the central role - and Johnson is just a better orthodox winger.
Absolutely right! Frustrating because when these players put the effort in they’re twice the team Fulham are. Fulham worked very hard, Robinson was excellent, Muniz got his goal, and we just didn’t do anything. Time for a Guinness or two and forget about it.
