    I love him as a player but where would he play for us? He isnt a winger imo and Son will be moved back to the left. He can play AM but I doubt him or Maddison would be happy being rotated.     A player I think we will go for is one that I know you have had your concerns over - Raphinha. He can play left or right, prem proven, excelled in a Leeds team that played a similar style to how we do. If the price is OK and he is put up for sale then I think I'd be happy with him.

    I imagine we will be interested as apparently Doku was our number 1 choice in the summer - and Bakayoko is the most similar in style to him. Liverpool will no doubt be all over him too.

    Ange is saying he needs players for his system but what is his system? All ive seen all season is attack and absolutely no defensive shape or clue how to defend. This is embarrassing and ive switched it off now. I dont want Ange out but every time the opposition attacks they look like scoring...

    My concern with Doue (and I may be totally missinformed here) is that reading up on him he sounds like he has been playing a lot at LM rather than as an actual winger. Is that true? A few people online have reported that he isnt a winger at all. Like I said they may be talking rubbish though.

    Having watched him play I actually think he would be very good as a number 6 for us. He plays very similar to how Bissouma did in his first 10 games of the season (the good version) but he is also more physical/stronger. There seems to be a lot of negativity in every thread at the moment...

    I actually think he would be great in our system. Played a similar one at Leeds previously and excelled. The system at Barca isnt how we would use him.

    Apparently we had scouts at the Porto vs Sporting game recently. Lets hope its to look at Alan Varela who reminds me a bit of Romero but as a DM.

    100% agree. He has also been in dreadful form throughout 2024 and barely scored. He lacks so much to his game that I think it would be a really bad move. I think we all want someone to come in and hit the ground running and I dont see him doing that. There are so many better strikers available...
