Thiago Silva might get a hat trick on corners. Palmer will cause us problems and we are easy to play against, think we lose this one. Our record there is horrible, maybe we snatch a draw.

I remember posting the list of Newcastle's injuries and declaring that we should be favourites to win. Not making that mistake again.

My wife’s birthday - will be out for dinner, so will be following this game via WhatsApp updates from friends. Expect they will fight like lions.

But other than Palmer, youd take everyone of Newcastle's attackers over Chelsea.

Isac over Jackson is one extreme to the other.

Really it should be a game we can win. However this is the fixture where form goes out the window. We will find a way to lose as usual. Not looking forward to our 2 worst away fixtures off the back of 2 defeats.

I reckon mikey moore gets a bench spot this time instead of 21st man as werner is injured and mikey has been training for the 3rd week with the men.

Plus donley etc should be in the PL trophy semi final on the same night

I’m not sure I want our kids anywhere near this team until it becomes a little less dysfunctional. It’s a hiding to nothing for them.

I will be controversial and say

1) Maddison should not start this game.

2) Son is NOT a number 9 and therefore Richarlison should start there. Put Son on the left of the 3.

I would be absolutely astounded if we won this game.

Chelsea will play like prime Barcelona and then go back to being mediocre the following week.

We just don't have the bottle to go to Stamford Bridge and perform - our record there shows it.

1 win in 30 odd years is ****ing embarrassing.

Chelsea aren't as bad a team as their results suggest. They're capable of playing very well and hammering teams who aren't on their game. I would imagine we will crumble under the pressure as usual and get comfortably beat.
