I fucking love Sonny but a serious conversation has to take place about where he's actually going to play long term. Anonymous upfront, past his best on the wing. He can still score with the best of them but I don't know where he plays for us anymore.
Needs to be sold or a sub. Great finisher but is like playing with 10 men when he can’t hold the ball up.

In every game u just feel we will concede at least 2 goals. If we don't it seems lucky more than due to good defending.

Hard to win games that way.

I have great fear for the second half. We can mix up the personnel all we like but at the end of the day there is no Plan B tactically.

It simply has to change in the summer. Whether it’s a specialist set piece coach or simply relieving Jedinak of his defensive set piece coaching duties, we cannot go into next season without changing anything.
I totally agree but don’t hold your breath. 🙁

Maddison has been the worst attacking player and he has not been at it since coming back from injury. Slipping too much and turning into opponents rather than the early season player who was gliding forwards.

Defensively we are disgraceful from corners. We took for granted how good Harry Kane being at the near post nodding deliveries away was but there is no excuse for every corner being a minefield to navigate and every conceded goal being literally within the vicinity of the goal line. These aren't even 50-50 battles the attacker wins. All you do is touch it from under the bar.

I think we needed to get one goal back to apply pressure in the second half. Son was the big one and when he messes up a clear opening like that it is not our day.

It's infuriating because we played well for a lot of that, hit the post, somehow got a goal disallowed and somehow didn't get a pen and yet we're 3-0 down. But that's the issue when you just assume every corner will (and does) lead to a goal.

You can't fill a bucket with an empty hole at the bottom.

AFAIK Jediank does the defensive ones and Mason does the attacking ones. Maybe just switch up their responsibilities and try to hire a best in class to cover them both? I think you can do that without ruffling too many feathers tbh.

talking of Chelsea, do you think its possible for that shit Chelsea side to beat us week ? now that would something:ROFLMAO::LOL::LOL:
Let me ask you this. Do you think it's entirely possible for us to beat Chelsea given how we've limped through the last handful of games. I wouldn't bet on us beating Chelsea lets put it that way.

I can live with Davies not being able to perform a defensive transition. he is a squad player, certainly not good enough to play as a wide back in a game of this magnitude. something to address in the Summer. but to still display this ineptitude on defensive set pieces after so many lackluster repetitions is malpractice. and it's majorly structural, not personnel related. someone better put Ange on the spot for this.
