Any more for any more? :D Like from Le Arse (when we turned the game around) and how about from Liverfool, Newcattle and Man Shitty?

Just keeping the standards me :)

Hell, feel free to even throw in something from a Waste Ham forum for a laugh?

There’s nothing more cringe inducing than seeing these silly names replacing the actually names. Are you 5?

Villa Talk
  • Tottenham forward Richarlison will be out for "three to four weeks" with a knee injury, says boss Ange Postecoglou.
  • Just need Son to have a season ender now
  • Be ideal if Cash did it actually to absolutely melt their minds
  • Especially if Romero was injured as well and could be all hopping mad on the touchline as though one flick from Emi wouldn't knock him over, whilst dressed like the 4th toughest kid at the Year 6 disco
  • This is interesting...
    Advantage Spurs.
Matt Law from The Telegraph believes it's advantage Spurs for 4th as they play less games.
Whereas our manager wants as many games as possible.
I think I'll side with Unai on this one.
  • Matt Law is a Villa fan too...
It's a cliche, even with all the injuries
  • The thing that matters more IMO is that Spurs have easier fixtures, ending the season with as close to two guaranteed victories as possible.
  • Yeah their last two should be 6 points for them.
Saying that if we can win today and then turn Spurs over at home we'll have some real momentum
  • CP please win this
  • small queef flukey-win-to-avoid-the-drop incoming?
  • Cop that you muppets!!!
  • Werner doing us favours
  • Lol SPURS
  • Palace you beauties
  • Celebrated that Palace goal like it was one of ours
  • Postenoclue....
    Mate.
  • 1-1 Tottenham
  • Palace you suck
  • Oh Timo....
  • FFS
  • **** off tottingham spunkspurs
  • Spurs have had some proper lucky escapes this season. Loads of luck and late goals. They will nick this.
  • Just have to reply on ourselves
  • annoying
  • Spurs we're always going to win today, Palace are shyte
  • Ange the best manager in world football now © Sky
  • proper lucky with late goals
  • Spurs deserved that win tbh, absolutely battered Palace. Will be a very good game next weekend
  • Nothing more than deserved for spurs
  • We can beat this Spurs side
  • Shows us Spurs are very beatable at least
  • If we lose tonight the spurs jizzfest will be vomit inducing
  • Just saw, Tottenham 3 goals in 10 minutes. 🤦🏻
This is a careful reminder as to why I hated villa when we was competing with them for Europa under jol - think they’re a massive club and have now had a decent season and think they’re world beaters again! Deluded brummie knobbers

Fanbase wise they're in a similar position to Newcastle where the vast majority of their fans come from the local area. They're also the biggest club in that area so majority of the press coverage they see is focussed on them, giving them a disjointed view on how they're perceived by the rest of the league.

As a London club we just don't get this same level of propaganda style local-press coverage

I worry about playing Villa a lot less than other teams.

They give up a lot of good chances each game and we have the most clinical finisher in world football.

1-3 Spurs, Son with a brace.
So do we and they have the most in form striker in the league

  • At 1-0 to us - Spurs looked nervous and their support quiet
  • then lifted Sours and their crowd and we were up against it from then on - you could see it coming..!!
  • Spurs were getting frustrated and the crowd were flat and we had just over ten minutes of normal time to go, That piece of absolutely shambolic defending, where he had at least 4 opportunities to clear it and couldn’t, cost us dearly
I actually thought Lerma's stupid booking in the 50' really inspired us and kicked us into the next gear - Son hit the post soon after that as the chances started flowing. The Eze goal was against the run of play, and we really dominated that second half.

Those are excellent too 😆

Not as good as mine though :D

@Jgplk1 - thanks for also posting Man Shitty
Gonna look on KUMB, Newcastle Online, and RAWK later, but not much anywhere as so many teams played at 3pm Sat, and Arsenal and City were mostly about Liverpool Forest.

Newcastle Online
  • Palace beating Spurs.
  • Fucking ****ing Spurs
  • Flicked over to Game of the Day and it's fucking Liverpool's scummy late 1-0 win

ridiculous when you consider the Villa game, us, Fulham, even Spurs. What a joke.
  • How well do we think Villa does in the Champions League next season?
  • Hopefully they'll drop out of the CL places to Spurs
  • They’ll both end up qualifying.

RAWK
  • If Villa beat Spurs I expect them to go and and get 4th spot.
Nothing on KUMB.

Jesus, Villa vans have become unbearable this season after the dizzying heights of last year's Europa League qualifying campaign.
Can only imagine what CL qualification will do to their (already swollen with glory) mutant heads.

I hope 5th is enough for CL and Villa finish 5th. I want to see them brought down to earth in the CL next season.

It’s so odd how fan bases of teams that don’t generally finish in the top 6, year over year, become super arrogant and bolshy when they’re having a decent season.

Last year it was the Brighton contingent that got it in their heads that they were CL worthy. This season their silence speaks volumes.

Not sure Villa are built to stay in the top 4/6 for consecutive seasons.

Very good chance they drop back into midtable after a high.

Therefore, let them get cocky.

  • Let’s mash these spuds and pretty much secure 4th place!
  • I normally go a check out the match threads of the teams we play on their forums.
Just checked the Spurs forum and their match thread is 18 pages long, they are completely unhinged
  • We've not won 4 league games in a row yet this season...
    We've won 3 in a row 3 times. We're currently on 3 in a row
  • Could go either way this one, we narrowly beat them away, but they were missing their two centre-backs, as well as Maddison, Bissouma and Richarlison.
Seeing our performance drop in the 2nd halfs v Luton and Forest, if we do that versus this lot they will run riot
  • Our one saving grace is we are less likely to drop off at home as we are away. Fingers crossed.
The plus side is that they have only won once away from home since October.
  • They will be well up for this one. If we are on our game I fancy us irrespective of how they play.
  • In an amazing season, the last remaining question is; can we handle pressure? So far, we haven't really. Spurs is a pressure game between two evenly matched teams.
We have beaten some amazing teams as the underdogs, we have bullied some midtable teams and we have held on against some pluckier relegation candidates.
But the bigger games we've gone in to as 'equals', we've generally struggled in or, frankly, blown it. Man Utd home and away. Newcastle home and away. Chelsea and Everton in the cups. Even just the opportunities to go briefly top of the table. Or the pressure of the first European game proper.
We've lost these games but then, crucially, bounced back and our rivals haven't taken advantage or closed the gap.
I am yet to see us win a pressure game this season and suspect we may be in for some more disappointment Sunday and, again, it will be how we react in the following games and if Spurs/Utd push on.
  • Hope we can have one of those atmospheres when we boo and whistle whilst they have possession then cheer when we win it back.
  • Nice 8 pointer Sunday afternoon, what's not to like

Villa Talk (Race for Top 4 thread)
  • These lads are thirsting over a pass we see 3 or 4 times per game. The drought must be real
  • Hahaha my God, they seriously overrate their players don’t they? If Torres played for them he’d be the greatest defender of all time.
  • My favourite reply to the original tweet was 'The balls to make that pass is insane'. There's no pressure on him ffs and the passing lane is clear
  • Be great to beat them in their cup final on Sunday
  • They can't just be referred to as big 6 for old times sake.
They're still "big 6" in terms of revenue, which dwarfs ours. Is there a list of clubs that voted for FFP initially in 2011? Be interesting to see who wanted it.
  • knowing Villa we will win the Europa Conference, which becomes the deciding factor which gives England a 5th Champions League space, which allows Spurs into Champions League , who we face in later rounds and then they knock us out!
  • We've got more points than a normal 4th for this stage of a season right? Are we more like a 3rd placed team typically points wise?
  • If we beat Spurs on sunday I think it's sealed
  • Spurs also have loads of injuries and we have none.
    Or so I'm told.
  • An 8 point gap with only 11 games to overturn it would be too much I think.
Again I go back to looking at eventual totals. If we win against Spurs we'd have 58 points with 10 games to play.
The highest points total required for 4th over the last 10 seasons is 76. That would only require 1.8PPG from us to hit from there.
Usually the points total needed is around 71 which would be 1.3PPG
For Spurs to hit those numbers if they lose against us they'd have to hit between 1.9 and 2.4 PPG which is higher than they've averaged all season (or would be when you include the loss)
I don't feel very confident about our game against them. But if we do win then it's as good as done, imo
  • The match thread on the Spurs forum for our game is mental. I've never seen a fanbase so rattled by us before, 3 points for us would be lovely
  • Why the hate?
  • 90 % of it revolves around Matty Cash
I know a spurs guy who desperately wants Romero to injure Cash badly enough to force him to retire. Poor guy has lost his mind over it.
  • My in-laws are Spurs fans and they had the strangest reaction to that Cash challenge.
My Father-in-law, who is a physicist, a lecturer, and an all round wonderful human was absolutely appalled at Cash’s challenge on Bentancur. Said he “knew exactly what he was doing” and that he’d aimed to injure him.
    Absolutely baffling.
  • We the fans can play a massive part in us beating Spurs
  • 5th is in the bag and Spurs can celebrate it
  • Honestly, their hatred of Cash is laughable. He hasn't got a bad bone in his body. He can be a bit rash and a bit clumsy with his tackling. And they're hating on him and worshipping Romero who makes genuinely nasty challenges with genuine intent to hurt players. It's pathetic

Honestly, their hatred of Cash is laughable. He hasn't got a bad bone in his body.

The general gist I seem to get from their fans is that he didn't do it intentionally, he's just an idiot?

A fellow professional, who's barely back from a long term injury, he either intended to put him back on the bench or he's not smart enough to understand the risks of going in like a fucking farmer, either way, Cash can get in the sea.

I've never defended Romero, the matchday threads when he's gone into a tackle like he's prepping the turf for next season's turnips, full of comments from our fans about how stupid or dangerous it was. Called common human decency and not blindly backing your boy.

Think it would be very funny if they finished 6th with all this talk of guaranteeing CL with 10 games to go on Sunday

Unless it was completely pre meditated(I doubt it was) I doubt he had given any thought to the fact Bentancur was just coming back from long term injury. He'd have just been a player who had the ball and he was going to win it regardless of how heavy handed he was in doing so. He's just one of those players, just like Romero is. This type of player on the whole aren't looking to long term injure but they want you to be aware that they are there and that you are looking over your shoulder for the rest of the game.
