Hope Ange and the players are watching the scum on how you should press and fill up with players in the box when playing a high line.

Arsenal played midweek and yet their running and pressing is so far above us it is scarry

TBF they’ve been working at it for a long time.

No coincidence the top three teams in the PL press like demons. And let's be honest two of those are in the five best sides in the world right now.

Arsenal playing the best I have seen them. As much as I do love an Arsenal loss, seeing Newcastle brought back down to earth after one good season is still funny to me.

Look at the difference between their wingers and our wingers. Our wingers get stuck out wide and barely gets into dangerous areas. Arsenals wingers are more fluid and are allowed to move inside. They have made several good runs into Newcastles box.

Well yes, but we looked like having better press the first 6 games. Now it looks like to many players are comfertable.
Or we had a decimated squad for months and only new getting that side back? Which is also a young squad that is learning with each game.

Arteta has been at it for a few years now with the majority of this squad, so it's no wonder they're good doing it when they have been training it for that long compared to us for half a season.

Sure but i do think it is more a mentality thing also, they have been back a long time now and the high press together and being "on it" should not fall of like that. It looks like we are having more trouble not playing 2 times a week.

The team needs matches to get proper sharpness, the lack of matches means we can't get the rhythm going properly.

Arsenal have boxed them in with very good pressing, relentlessy to be fair.

That said, Newcastle have been spinless and weak....bit like when we beat them easily.

And Arsenal, for all their pressing, havent created bucket loads either

Arsenal press like demons for the first 30 minutes. If you're still in the game by then, then its game on.

Looking at the fixture lists of the top 3 I do think Arsenal have the favourable remaining games unfortunately.
