Yeah it’d be interesting to see what Werner can do on the rightFor me you have the best starting combo there for the rest of this season. Werner/Richie/Son

And then based on last night - I wonder if Ange is looking at a CM3 of Maddison/Kulusevski/DMFor me you have the best starting combo there for the rest of this season. Werner/Richie/Son
I'd like to see what he can do from the right also. You would think he would do better on the right on the outside using his right foot. Left side is fine if you're good coming inside but then it gets crowded and we lack width on the left. He was getting into good positions even in first half but his left foot crossing let him down.
Destiny knocked it against a defender and got it back before shooting.I’ve only seen the replay on the Spurs Insta and am very jet-lagged so may be missing something, but anyone know why he wasn’t credited with the assist for the Udogie goal?

Yep, stupid how it isnt an assist.
Yet Toney gets an assist for shooting at the keeper, then Maupay knocks from one foot to the other to score.
I mean Werner's is more the assit if anything.
I don't think he's the long term answer and completely agree on the shooting. On the plus side he's setting up others with goals.Personally thought he was extremely poor today. Basically hid for a lot of the game. Never attacked his full back at all. And you can tell he's absolutely petrified of missing chances, so he kind of holds back from attacking balls that he should actually get to.
Similar traits to harry kane? Hes not a bad passer but he is literally the opposite of kane. One thing I’ve noticed about him is the quality of his passing. He’s so often stereotyped as a pacy wide man but he can really pick a pass and his defensive work is top notch. Of course it’d be great to see him stretching defences every game but for me one of the characteristics of a really good player is to know when you’re not quite at it and so simplify your game and aid others to expand their game. Harry was exceptional at that and I see similar unselfish traits in Timo.
I think you're taking what he said too literally. Which isn't unheard of on SCSimilar traits to harry kane? Hes not a bad passer but he is literally the opposite of kane.
