Why’s everyone blaming Mourinho????

He’s inherited the same disillusioned wastes of space that Poch had mid season and hasn’t had a full summer window to bring in his own players, get rid of the trash and drill a winning mentality into them.

This is on the players, they let down our best manager of 5 years in Poch and they’ve carried on the same way under Jose. They should be ashamed of themselves. They can’t pass, run, move, shoot... even our stalwarts like Kane look a shadow of their former self.

Come next season, if we’re still seeing Aurier, Davies, Sissoko and Winks week in week out then yes Jose needs to shoulder some of the blame but for now it’s on the players.
I completely understand what you're saying as I agree that the deficiences of the squad are our biggest problem, by far. We're lacking in (at least) central midfield, central defense, and fullbacks. We haven't got squad players good enough to push the players in our first XI to be at their best. That's a recipe for mediocrity, and we're seeing it play out in front of our eyes.

But Mourinho has to take some measure of blame as well. Newcastle just put four past this lot. They're absolutely shit. We've got players like Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Lo Celso, and Ndombele. We should very fucking well create a shot on target. The fact that we haven't done does fall upon the manager in some degree, even if what he's got to work with isn't good enough in a general sense.

Regardless, he's not a project manager and we've got a project on our hands. It's a total shambles.

It was fucking Bournemouth. Probably the actual worst team in the league. Once they concede they crumble and we couldn't fucking score. We didn't have a single shot on target AGAINST FUCKING BOURNEMOUTH. Watching this team is soul-destroying.

Time to make some alternative plans for Sunday afternoon as I can’t bring myself to watch that shower of shit get ripped apart by Arsenal.

Oh and Winks was fucking awful today - his transformation into Mark Noble is complete. And yet he still wasn’t our worst player in that I at least remember him winning the ball a couple of times before he instantly passed it back to a Bournemouth player.

I was a supporter of Jose when he first came in but recently he has looked clueless. I will give him the summer if he still here to sort out his own players and see where go but in all honest who could we get/have to replace him.

The optimist in me says that some of These players are just struggling for confidence.

The pessimist tells me a lot of them have given their best.

Bournemouth are without a clean sheet in 15 games before today, they have a --27 goal difference, they have conceded an average of 3 goals a game since the restart, and yet we have 0 shots on target. This is the same old negative boring football man utd fans have been complaining about, and we'd be better off cutting our losses with mourinho at the end of the season than putting up with this tripe for another season.
How about we cut our losses tonight and try to at least rescue Europa football from this mess before it's too late? Literally Car Window Harry or Tactics Tim would give us a better shot for our last four games.

Didn't watch this one because I had a feeling this would happen and I genuinely cannot stand to watch our games at the moment. I kept checking the score but that's the best I can do right now.

Call me a bad supporter or fickle or whatever you like but I gave Jose a clean slate when he joined and I cannot watch this anymore. It's so fucking boring. 29 years old, Spurs since birth and this is the first NLD I've not looked forward to, probably won't watch that either.

Amen mate. #Metoo

I don’t disagree at all. My only concern would be that without selling one of the big hitters (and bearing in mind that it’s not a sellers market anyway), there is going to be precious little to spend on sorting out the squad.

There lies the difficulty. Of those who would bring in a decent fee, I would happily let any of Winks, Alli and Moura go. Whereas I would burn Aurier and Davies at the stake lol

I thought Ndombele was postivie but clearly lacks sharpness and match fitness. Imagine if we actually played him more.

Abysmal again tonight. If Kane can't even get chances in a game against Bournemouth he has no hope.

Shocking VAR yet again though. Oliver was never going to give that after criticism from Jose.

Fifa rules VAR from next season so the ref can actually come over and take a look. Works much better in La Liga.

No way Levy sacks Mourinho in the summer.

There are many players who are cogs in a very mediocre wheel. The ball was moving in so many good areas. People like Lamela, Sissoko, Aurier can’t play a 5 yard ball. I can’t blame Mourinho. Look at this team for the last 18 months. We have been bloody aweful. Let’s not paint the last 10-12 months of the Poch era with a brush that is not accurate. Toward the end under Poch every time the opposition crossed the half we looked like conceding. Now the team has a clear shape, structure and strategy. Look defensively solid and but our attacking players are dross. Creativity is zero. Can’t give away Eriksen without replacing him with anyone. Won’t blame Jose for that. Need some investment in creativity. 3 clean sheets out of 5; 1 a Pogba collapse penalty; the sheff United game the wake up call we needed. Steps in the right direction but it’s going to be a journey.

Apart from son and kane I would'nt care who we got rid off.
Sorry but they can go as well for me, they have both been shockingly bad of late. Neithef of them offers an ounce of movement and csnt remember the last time anyone other than lo celso actually beat a man and attempted to move with the ball. They seem masters of running into defenders and only chasing the ball once its too late

Why do you think Mourinho will be able to rebuild the squad on a low budget? Even at Inter, where he didn't spend much the team imploded after a season.
