Mourinho for me. In my opinion his heart was never in the Man Utd job. I think the players would react to him, he knows the premier league well and he has stated there has been a change in his approach. I think it’s less of a risk at this stage too.

His heart wasn’t in it lol

But if he was with us you can guarantee his heart will be “in it”

This is like those managers that keep buying balotelli because they can be the ones that change him.

Mourinho always ALWAYS ends in total disaster.

If he’s where we are going I’m genuinely done with football, how fucking depressing

Christ on a bike if Mourinho comes it will be like your Mum shacking up with a new husband who you despise. Now you love your Mum and want her to be happy but cant help feeling miserable every time you go round for Sunday Dinner.

I would go for Mourinho, Alligeri, or Benitez but we will end up with someone like the Bournemouth or Southampton manager

I wouldn’t mind the trophies he gets before it ends in disaster

He's not the same guy though. He's a proper miserable fucker now. The modern game has passed him by.

Perhaps. Who knows?

He recently acknowledged he needed time away to process his approach and relax etc
I think he might be ready for another crack at it. Any appointment is a risk, that’s the bottom line. Obviously we can reduce the risk by employing proven winners.

We’ve never employed a winner of such standing. Would be a first for us. I can’t get my head around why some think he’d automatically be a failure though. Citing boring football, 2nd place finishes and only winning the Europa League and League Cup at United etc, in the world game who the actual fuck do some of us think we are!?

In the last 35 years we’ve won 1 FA Cup and 2 League Cups.

You make some good points but obviously I can’t make any guarantees. Poch’s reign is not ending very well either, I never see that coming.

I’m just picking from the list, I wanted poch to succeed but that looks a distant dream now.

IF Poch were to go. Allegri would be my choice, but Rogers or Howe is the best we'd get. Levy ain't paying a big time, multi medal winner, either what he wants or needs.

Apart from when he was at Chelsea, Inter and Porto?
His Madrid ending wasn’t exactly a disaster either. The fact they would have him back suggests as much.

So basically, his last Chelsea departure and United. Ended in disaster. After winning them trophies the season before. I’d fucking love such a disaster!!!

This I agree with. It’ll be disappointing initially but we’ll get behind whoever Howe brings in and look forward to the 10 year plan to challenge for top 4.

Your mum has needed a good seeing to for years....let her be happy for once.

Edit: just to clarify this was your analogy... im sure your mum is a lovely woman.

Poch is 5th or 6th highest paid in the world, so thats not a problem. You're right about money for transfers.

I think Mourinho right now is hungry to be back working and hungry to prove himself. The UTD job and the way it ended for him has left him wanting to show the world that he's not out of it.

8 league titles
2 Champions Leagues
2 Europa Leagues
4 FA Cups
4 League Cups

I'd be fine with it ending in disaster if he added some trophies to the collection. Pochettino's time is ending in disaster, and all we have to show for it is a few runners up medals.
