    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

Good video about Ange here. Also a whole section dedicated to 1v1 wingers within this and shock horrror, guess who they highly recommend we sign? One of Doue, Williams or Summerville… We’ve heard those names before 😂

Yeah we definitely need a striker but as you say we badly need quality out wide and a 6, plus the depth at FB and AM as you say. You could stick Isak in our team and he would obviously improve us but if we don’t sort out the balance out wide the improvement really wouldn’t be as big as some...

He just needs to refine his game as you say, which I would say includes maintaining focus for 90 mins. I’ve noticed a few instances where he just loses focus and plays a slack pass. I’m with you though, big talent imo and very much under the radar compared to a lot of the names out there.

Another strong performance from Onyedika @Ghost Hardware Really hope we are looking at him.

Managers can tweak their tactics and evolve their strategies while remaining true to their core principles. Ange did it at Celtic, made tweaks for their second season.

    Team for Arsenal....

Son left wing really won’t work imo and will also badly expose our left flank as he simply hasn’t got the energy to cover out wide anymore. Nevermind the fact that in possession he simply doesn’t work out wide in this system either. If we don’t want Son striker in this match then he should be...

    Overrated and a poor attitude.

And if you want to see what it looks like when you stick an inside forward or playmaking AM out wide as the main form of width in a very rigid way, just look at Grealish for City. Doesn’t work for him and doesn’t work well for City either imo. He cuts inside every single time. That is why I’m...

Player Watch Player Watch: Timo Werner

I agree we struggle to control matches and agree with your general post but for me a decent chunk of the problem comes from the lack of control and balance in our attack. If I was splitting our problems in to % I’d say: 30% - Poor balance of profiles in attack 30% - Structural issues from the...

@Ghost Hardware some really good points on Zirkzee and I share the same concerns. He is such a big talent though I wonder if we could both tweak our tactics slightly and coach him to attack the box more. A slight tweak in both areas along with his natural talent could turn him in to a superb...

Player Watch Player Watch: Timo Werner

The problem is one of the reasons we concede so many goals is the make up of our attack. We have no one in the attack who can dictate the tempo of attacks, slow it down, speed it up, retain possession, beat a man in a tight space, combine with sharp passing in tight areas. Watch how often...

As mentioned in the Werner thread, Summerville on fire again for Leeds tonight. 2 goals taking his league tally to 19 in 39 starts this season now. Wonder if we will look at him in the summer.

An elite 1v1 dribbler was one of the missing pieces in that team actually. And I don’t understand why a 1v1 dribbler has to be frantic as you describe? They can just be direct, dangerous and decisive. Every single person is in agreement that high iq and technical quality is important but 1v1...
