    We’d been linked to Brennan for a couple years prior and he’s nothing like the wide players Ange has historically used. Going off topic now but I’d have massive doubts he was a priority target for Ange.

    I think we’ve gotta stick with him. We’re missing key profiles for his system to work properly and as shit as the last 3 games have we been we are and have been better than last season. Don’t let recency bias tell you otherwise. I think there’s a few things that he must work on though otherwise...

    We need height so can understand Thuram and Onana. I think 6 is such a difficult position to recruit at the top level. So maybe Zubimendi and Locatelli (is he even a natural 6 though?) is the ideal and if they’re not doable we’ll look to add more physical presence. We need both really.

    Sake, it’s not that. It’s that Ange wanted a centre back in early and we moved on from one for being too expensive and have dropped the ball on another for the sake of haggling. Being left short again.
