    Different situations, when the keepers rushing out with the striker 1-1 it’s so easy to give the pen because the ref will never have a great view of it.     He’s shown nothing to suggest he’s a good player with any kind of ceiling. Antony is actually a really hard worker and defensively is pretty sound, obviously not a 80m player but by far the better of the two.

    The third one is clear and obvious, the ref made a gesture that young got the ball which he clearly didn’t, so regardless of whether it should’ve been a pen or not the ref has seen it incorrectly so should be sent to the monitor to review.

    We’ll get fourth anyway but if we don’t, we don’t deserve champions league football. Fuck cheering on Liverpool for the chance of an extra CL spot which will most likely end up going to Villa, can’t think of anything worse than to cheer on the English teams.

    If they beat luton and then United and united lose to chelsea on Thursday they would be one point behind them. A lot of ifs of course but not entirely unreasonable. I think one of the teams below united will go on some kind of run and overtake them with united finishing 7th/8th.
