From someone who is prepared to describe Barmy as 'masculine', I would advise that you shouldn't put 100% faith into everything you read

*reports post*

I bet there's a number of Liverpudlians rubbing their hands at the prospect of burgling Keane's house to buggery at the first opportunity (read 'first European away game').

I'd rep you for that but unfortunately have to 'spread it about' first!

IOU!

I guess this means scumbell wont be coming back next season as our forwards will no longer be Bent & Keane???

(very poor first post but trying to lighten the mood)

We will come out of this stronger as we are Super Tottenham !!!!!

However, what I do find unforgivable is Levy's suggestion that he's become a "negative influence". He's our Vice-Captain, and a senior pro, and should behave as such.

That negative influence comment doesn't necessarily mean the two players are acting up. I'm sure the mere fact that the rest of the squad are aware they want to leave could be enough to create a negative influence.

Plus after the Jol-Ramos debacle last year I'm in no doubt that the club are prepared to 'bend the truth' in order to keep us fans on their side. So I'm not prepared to take anyone's word as gospel just yet.

That is indeed as I see it.

Well, it looks like the 'prophet' Dan Ashcroft was wrong on this one. I wonder how much of everthing else he said is utter bull...

dont be a twat, he tells us everything in good faith, so what if he got something wrong... he hears stuf from others, its not always going to be right.

And if what he said was that the club were not intending to sell either Keane or Berba he was 100% correct. Unlike those who claimed deals were done and medicals were the only stumbling block.

I don't get this.

Dan said that Levy had no intention of selling either striker whilst Ben, Noodles et al were saying they were done deals.

Now Levy's come out saying we haven't had official bids, we rejected their enquiries straight off and we really didn't want to sell.

Does that not mean that Dan was spot on? He's getting some abuse on FTL and now on here it seems but he was completely right wasn't he? For what it's worth, even the club thought Robbie had no interest in going to Liverpool as that was what he was saying.

Agree with Rob.

The assumption in Dan's posts was that Keane didn't want to leave. The same as most of us thought.

Seems we were all wrong.

the deal wont go through remember the barry saga oneil stood his ground and look what happened barry has now returned to pre season training with villa so if pool can afford to pay 18 mil for barry how are they going to pay 20 mil for keane?

If Levy doesn't want to sell RB to liverpool I reakon a deal could be struck with Villa... Robbie for Barry, straight swap.... I think i'd be satisfied with that?
