And the winners in all this? Real with mbappe for free and PSG for the fee from Saudi.

We get screwed in it all.
Not if we get £150m for Kane on the last year of his contract, and he goes to another league and not to a rival

It’s on.

It´s more realistic that the mentioned teams pool the transfer sum and share him for a season than him joining Spurs exclusively.

Seriously though, if the sums raised are close to be true, f#ck me. 700 Million to play for a year in Saudi Arabia and then off on a free to Real with what´s going to be a hefty signing fee and regular salary? Reputation and being ridiculed aside, if I was Mbappé I´d sign up for this.

So... has he signed yet?

Is this source good? I love Kolo Muani and think he would be perfect for Ange's style of play.
He’s been a very good source this summer, particularly when he labels the news as ‘EXCL.’, which is the case here.

Followed by the likes of Fabrizio Romano and recently has been hailed as the first to break the news of Everton’s interest in El Bilal Toure and Liverpool’s interest in Lavia and Pahlinha.

Burnley fans also think he’s been brilliant for info since Kompany was appointed.

Did you see his wage demand are you out of your mind which player going to enjoy playing with somebody who earns at least 4 time more. Woo the hate to Enic and Levy sucks out all common sens. No PL team including City can afford his wages

Hmmmm not sure about the truth in this as apparently Bayern explored the deal prior to targeting Kane but were put off by Frankfure demanding 100m euros +

Frankfurt might be willing to take slightly less from a non German club

Apparently he is being offered £700m for a year. I wonder what Daniel’s counter offer will be?
Would that £1bn total package go down as the biggest waste of money ever known? I don't see the added benefit of 1 single star like Mbappe in the league when Ronaldo is already there tbh.

I could see it though. They're really pushing the football over there so 1 year with Mbappe is going to be a huge pull to get it off the ground. They've been drip feeding Saudi football by pumping millions into these European clubs and now they're starting to pull some top players over to their league. The European leagues are going to start looking like mugs with giants like Juve, Barca and Madrid going broke and Saudi clubs taking the best players. They're essentially building their own super league. I wouldn't even be surprised if they pull their investment in European clubs once they have their own league to compete. Clubs over here will crumble without it and then they are the only ones who can pay for the best players.

Bingo. Add golf to the list as well.

Not sure I agree, he's been outed messaging someone called 'The Source' on Twitter, potentially even taking The Source's 'info', which is probably made up nonsense.

Oh I agree, I can definitely see it too. Would not even blame Mbappé to be honest, the sums raised are mind boggling, especially if it´s only for a year - some sort of paid vacation, kick about a little and be used for propaganda for their apparent 2030 World Cup bid and in general raising the profile of their own league before being off to his dream club Real Madrid? With PSG already wanting to get rid and Mbappé not beind adverse to money, SA on the other hand not caring about money at all? I can definitely see it, and I would understand it to an extent.

The way I read that situation was that Tavolieri simply replied to a DM, and then ‘The Source’ guy started shouting about it everywhere to try and make it look like he was friends with a genuine journalist.

He definitely wasn’t taking any ‘info’ off him.

Seems Utd were supposedly quoted €95m and Frankfurt really would rather not sell if possible, although they will if they get a big enough offer. Ether way I’d be surprised if they lowered the price to €80 mil. Utd seem to very much be interested as are PSG so it’s not as if we would have a clear run at him.

I read it as the Source was like 'oh I actually heard this' and then Sacha was like 'omg you're right let me edit my tweet' which seemed v dodgy.

Right yeah I can understand that. But in my opinion I thought he just realised that he’d put down the wrong fee by mistake, rather than actually changing his opinion based off of the exchange.
