I was done with the club a few months ago but big ange has sucked me back in 🤣
Getting the same feeling but I don't expect a significant number of our fans to give him enough time. He needs three or four Transfer windows and a couple of seasons to really get us playing his way. Will we give him that amount of time ? I don't think so.

Love what he says about the new signings wanting to play for spurs, and that he spoke to them both a couple of times to assess their character before we sealed the deal.

Also, one for the Sydney crew, is that triple aces footage in the video ?!!

Awesome! Gotta love him.

(What's mancatting? (Apart from not cool obviously)).
Mankadding… it’s when you run up and rather than bowl you stump the player at the non strikers end as they are out of their crowd

Not being in to cricket, I had to look up Mankadding. Honestly thought it was some kind of bikini for men. Anyhoo. If the batter leaves his box before the ball is bowled, then surely it’s his own fault if the bowler notices? I would agree that it’s not cool, but then the batsman shouldn’t be out of his box, right?
I like Ange, can’t wait to see what he gets out of us. Also can’t wait til the Shaktar game goes on general sale, as I normally take my dad up to that pre-season game.

Love his words on signings... which will be true for those here right now;

Not just talent that they bring as footballers but what they bring as people;
The right types of people for the dressing room;
Players that want to be here and for the right reason;
Playing a style football that requires a certain type of personality and character;

So nice to have a manager that not only wants to be at the club but seems genuinely proud to be there. Might change once he sees some of the players he has but hopefully he can work some magic

Looks like it doesnt it?

Was in Sydney for about a year back 2013/14 and it was a good place to catch a game.

Couple of amusing moments.

Watched the 1-0 loss to Arsenal at Emirates 13/14 season and a bunch of Arsenal fans, who I guess had watched the game in a nearby bar, had run down to stand outside and gloat. As soon as a few Spurs fans stepped outside they immediately legged it back to where they came. Typical gooners.

There was also a time when we lost 3-0 to West Ham 🤢 Somehow a West Ham fan had got in. He was stood behind me and I heard him making comments about how he hates spurs. Then they scored and he started getting in people's faces, bouncers ejected him so swiftly I was impressed. Good place!

Is it still hosting Spurs games?

Us fans have to get behind this guy, even if we have a few tricky results at the start. It may take some time to re-wire the players brains into playing attacking football again

Good to hear him talk about the coaching team too, I’d missed the news about who was going to be part of it, didn’t realise Mile Jedinak was in there, will look forward to seeing what he brings.

Just can't wait for this to kick off after these barren years of absolute miseryball. Fully bought in that this bloke will do all he can to get us playing in the way that our club wants to see us play football. It's a perfect mesh in that respect between his style and our historic culture, with a guy who seems to suffer no fools in his pursuit of entertaining, winning football.

You can feel from him that he just feels the game. Loves the game, to have worked his whole life from the other side of the world to get to this stage. That he talks about wanting to create those memories of great moments and attacking football to add the history of this great club, I can believe it from him. A world apart from "We're gonna make you proud".

"I love to win, mate."

Me fucking too, Angelos.

I'm excited but also writing off this season as the initial rebuild. Therefore no real expectations at this stage other than some positive football
